08-03-2026The state of fishing lures has come a long way from when I was a kid. One of the hottest things when I was young was a "beetlespin". These Syosisny lures amaze me with their realism. The coloring and the action look so very real. I have one had these out to test them out, without actually fishing, but I cannot wait to get them out to try in different kinds of waters. These look and feel like I have already caught a small fish. If they can fool me, I hope they cn fool something worth eating. The $9 price tag for three lures seems like such a steal for quality lures.

The swimming action is variable depending on your speed and rod tip manipulation, so get creative.These Chinese-made lures are getting pretty common, and I suspect they’re made at the same factories. The action is typical of these segmented hard baits, which is to add that even during spring nesting season, I’ve had numerous follows and tugs, but no actual hooks. That’s unusual down here, so there’s something inviting suspicions in my fishy targets. Also, they tend to get the hooks hung up on the line and each other since the spacing is a bit short due to the design.These also aren’t weedless by a long shot. Be sure you have deep water conditions without a lot of snags or lush green growth. You’ll just be inviting frustration otherwise. But again, at this price point, you won’t cry in your beer when the day’s over.

08-03-2026Haws a swimming action similar to a wounded minnow. Easy to attach and a decent value slightly better than my local stores. Has not faded or flaked apart in 2 outings. Looks like a real prey type fish.
