I was super skeptical when looking for a portable dishwasher, but this one is easy to use and does exactly what we need. We recently had a baby and are cloth diapering, and bought this washer to keep the washing of the diapers separate from the washing of all our other linens. So we use it for washing only and not drying, though I have tested out the air dry settings. While this washer washes items well, I would not say that it dries effectively. It will get 90% of the moisture out, but they're not ready for the hanger when you pull them out. If you don't have a dryer, you would still need to hang your items to dry after using this washer's air dry setting.
Works great! The spin cycle is better than on any full sized machine I have had. The clothes come out with much of the water spun out. Gets the cloths clean. Love this machine!!!!
Where to start...First, hold off on buying an adaptor or check it over good first before buying one. The one they send is dual threaded-has both a male and female threading on it. So there's a good chance it will work for you. I only found out after going to Home Depot, and walking away with nothing but a really poor attitude from the worker because it wasn't his dept and he knew nothing about nothing....I looked at the adaptor more closely, and noticed it had 2 rubber washers in it for some reason. Took the top one out and saw it had fittings that would work on my faucet. Voila.I had previously used one of those twin tubs/separate spinner portable machines. The one I had, which held 12 lbs in the wash section, it was great! It lasted several years, even leaving it under a tarp outside. Though I think that was the start of the demise of it. If you're in a bind financially, those will work good. It just takes a few extra steps and a bit more time because you have to manually move it to spin it, and the spinners are smaller. That's why I wanted one of these, I was tired of that. So for the extra 50. or so, I'd recommend one of these. Otherwise, they work very similar.Looking through reviews on all of these, seems it's all about the same. Some have great experiences, others not. I'm using this in a hybrid RV (2018 Rockwood Roo 233S) that I"m temporarily staying in full time. So kinda limited on space.Dimensions given are pretty accurate-right about 17 inches across the top widest part, and from front to back width right about 18 inches, maybe add another inch on for the hose opening on the back for clearance purposes. And it's a tad more then 2 1/2 foot tall, at it's tallest spot at the back. The inside dimensions, I know that's what I was concerned about. How big exactly is 1 cu ft? How much laundry is 8 lbs? I posted photos with a lighter to give some perspective; about 12 inches across and about 12 inches deep, to the top of the steel basket since water won't be over that level. I knew this was a smaller washer, but it actually is bigger then I thought. Glad I went with this size.My first wash, I put in 3 XL tshirts, 1 pair XL kinda thick shorts, 2 camisole tops, 3 pairs of underwear, 2 pairs of socks. This will easily wash my sheets, though they're queen size so may have to do 1 at a time. Definitely won't fit a comforter. The water levels read in liters, 1-5. I initially picked 4 liters, but then decided I wanted it to 5. So it started refilling it to 5 with no issues. I did a quick/fast wash, and it was about 22 minutes total, then I put it on air dry for about 30 mins. The only water leak I had was at the faucet, when it wasn't filling. So I don't know if that's a thing with my rv system since I"m using water from a water container rather then a city line, or what, so I shut the water off every time it was done filling or using it to rinse. So I just had to monitor when it would change cycles and turn the water on. Otherwise, no leaks anywhere on the floor or at the connection on the machine.I read another review, and I used duck tape to tape the discharge hose down to my counter/sink. It stayed put. Be aware, the plastic rack that clips it to the side can be slid up or down. It'll make sense once you look at it so the U curve is closer to the sink/counter.The clothes came out clean. The spinner worked good, and the air dry function just helped it along a bit further to be more dry. They still need to be hung up or put in a dryer though, which I knew. It's very quiet. The main sound while it's washing is a light splashing around of water. When it spins, it's like a low hum. Very quiet.Few tips -smaller load=smaller amount of detergent. Don't dump a capful in :) Also I think it would probably be a good idea to do1-2 loads a day over a few days as opposed to 5-6 loads a day once a week. Don't make the pump/motor work as hard with bigger loads. Just my opinion there to try to achieve longevity with this. I prefer to add detergent and water first before my clothes so it mixes in with the water. Start to fill, hit the pause button, put in clothes, resume filling. ALWAYS hit the pause button before opening. The alarm is annoying! Also I picked up this little dolly to help move it around, and it's working and held up good search it above by the number B0C7PC6TK2It's 21. now with a 10% coupon.Only con at the moment, which is nothing more then inconvenience type of thing-I wish the top was clear instead of smokey color. That's really it. Overall happy with this. So far it's working out good for me and my purpose/area. Hope it lasts! Any issues at all I will absolutely update at the top of my review.
I enjoy it at lot, and it washes my clothes and does multiple rinses. It can't fit more than 2 thick towels in it and maybe some socks/under clothing. When putting in my work clothes we can fit about 2 full outfits sometimes 3 per wash. It's not loud and we use our bathroom sink.
Does a great job. We use it outside with our RV. No heat or cold option but it still does a really good job so far! Been using it now for a couple of months.I suppose if we were using it at a sink and not with a garden hose (adapter we bought at Lowe's), we could control temps.
Bought it for my trailer when we set up at the campsite on our long trips. This washer is great, it cleans very well, it has a bunch of modes and allows you to select the water level. It comes with a kit to connect to most faucets, I was not expecting much, other than to save some money that would be spent in laundry rooms. This washer far exceeds my expectations.
Okay I just got this today admittedly but immediately I am in love. This was delivered via UPS and my driver even brought it upstairs for me which was so unexpected and incredibly helpful! It’s not as heavy as expected so I don’t think it would’ve been too bad to carry up myself. Set up time legitimately took 10-15 mins!!!!, and I have already washed two loads of laundry. Thankfully my sink fits the inlet hose perfectly. This thing fit a lot more than I expected and the reviews aren’t lying when they say everything comes out so dry it’s crazy. My only concern is my bathroom sink is a little slow to drain but I have other options if need be. I almost went for one of those switch-them-yourself washers and I am so happy I went for this instead for maybe $50 more. Will update if anything goes wrong but this is currently making my day, week, month, year and I am so thankful I took this risk.
This machine seemed lovely and functional at first, but within a week it started breaking apart and leaking. Plastic parts are not sturdily made and are likely to crack amd break. The lid is very flimsy. Could be a good machine if it were reworked with better materials.
