Exceptional quality. I moved from an older iMac with a 5k Retina display ( so spoiled with picture quality) to a Mac Mini 4 and needed a display. Not willing to pay the high prices for the Apple 5K display which costs almost as much as a complete iMac and couldn't even justify the pretty high prices for the non-Apple 5k displays available, I was looking for an alternative. Watched a lot of reviews on YouTube as well as did a lot of reading and came across this Benq MA270U. Understanding that it is 4K and also the issues that you run into with Mac scaling it seemed like everyone was extremely pleased with this display. I set it up last night and was immediately impressed from the build quality to the amazing picture quality. I don't have the retina display to compare side by side, but compared to a new Dell S2725QC on my wife's computer this is head and shoulders above. I did have to spend a little bit of time with the Display Pilot 2 software to get everything working the way I wanted. ( example: I wanted to be able to use the keyboard brightness and volume controls, and they did not work immediately) In fairness to the Dell comparison, this display is more expensive and the Dell is nice, it is just this is way better. One advantage the Dell has over this, is the convince USB slot on the bottom of the display. The BenQ has a single USB-A that is not particularly easy to get at. The Dell has a USB-A and Usb-C that drop down from the bottom of the display with push of a button, making it easier to access. That is the only slight negative that I have come across. You will not be sorry, especially for the price. Highly recommend.

I picked up the BenQ MA270U 27” 4K monitor for my MacBook, and honestly, it feels like the Studio Display experience without the Studio Display price tag.MacBook Integration: Plugging in with a single USB-C cable gives me instant 4K resolution, smooth macOS scaling, and even charges my MacBook at the same time. Fonts are crisp, colors are accurate, and the whole setup feels native—no hassle, no blurry text.Display Quality: The panel is gorgeous. Whether I’m editing photos, watching videos, or working on multiple documents side by side, the sharpness and vibrant colors make everything pop. It delivers pro-level performance for a fraction of the price.Design & Comfort: The slim bezels, sturdy adjustable stand, and BenQ’s eye-care features make it practical for long hours of work. It’s sleek enough to sit right next to a MacBook and not look out of place.Bottom Line: If you’ve been eyeing the Studio Display but can’t justify the cost, this monitor is the smart buy. It nails the essentials—sharp text, true colors, and seamless MacBook integration—without draining your wallet.
This is an excellent monitor if you plan to hook it up to a Mac. I'm using it with a Mac mini M4 and it works perfectly. Add the free Pilot 2 software and it's a winner. Trust the reviews. For a third the price of a comparable Apple Display, this is well worth getting. Stop thinking about it and buy it.
This monitor works flawlessly with my MacBook Air. I love that I only need a single USB-C cable, it charges my laptop and connects the display at the same time. The picture quality is sharp, colors look fantastic, and the adjustable stand makes it comfortable to use for long hours. Simple setup, great design, and exactly what I was looking for.
This monitor has wowed me several ways:1: The display panel itself seems to be very high quality, its anti-glare, and bright—very bright!2: The color profiles are very precise and it really looks the exact same as my MacBook. This is great for people who need precise and consistent color across screens.3: The display has a ton of user-friendly features with the Co-Pilot 2 application. You can even use your regular brightness and volume controls with it.Overall, it’s a great display for power users and looks beautiful with any setup. If you’re looking for color accurate display with speakers, this brand is as good as it gets.
Love this monitor! It connects directly to my MacBook Pro with just a Type-C cable—super quick and easy, no hassle at all. The 4K resolution is stunning, photos and videos look sharp with beautiful, accurate colors. As someone who edits photos and watches videos often, the color consistency is really impressive—it feels very close to what I see on my MacBook screen. When I’m not actively working, I let it play my photo screensaver, and it’s like having a personal gallery at home. Every time I walk by, it just lifts my mood. The larger screen size also makes long hours much more comfortable on the eyes compared to working only on the laptop. I even got a BenQ ScreenBar along with it. It helps reduce eye strain and keeps my workspace neat and cozy.Highly recommend!

This an amazing monitor. The picture quality is great. The design is very modern and stylish. The monitor has an amazing rotation feature. The speakers are loud with very clear sound quality. The size is prefect for duel pictures. This monitor is very compatible with Apple computers.
The BenQ monitor is clear and works well. It comes packaged extremely well and is super easy to assemble. The stand is easily adjustable for height and tilt, and has portrait or landscape mode. It is very stable also. All I was looking for.
I spent 3 months researching what monitor to buy for my Mac mini. I was too worried about purchasing a 4K monitor and not being sharp enough for my taste. With this monitor, I got it all right: MacOS integration, good colours, good brightness. 4K is sharp enough in MacOS; I'm thrilled about buying this one.
Sets up quickly to a Mac Mini, looks good, sharp image. I wish it had a camera and microphone, but it didn't claim to.
I bought this BenQ 27” monitor for my photography and work projects. It is a fabulous monitor. My old Apple Studio monitor finally died and I wanted to find a less expensive new monitor with better connections to my MacBook Pro including better color profiling options. The BenQ met all my expectations and more. It is easy to set up and connect directly to my laptop. The 90 watt USB C connection powers your laptop and other devices. It just works easily and gives you a beautiful display with their advanced matte screen. I was leery of a matte screen, but it’s gorgeous. Images and text look very sharp with advanced display options with downloadable software from BenQ. And the price is great compared to an Apple Studio monitor.
