I bought this steamer to help remove creases from my new curtains I was hanging. I tried it out on the new shower curtain, since I was filling the water reservoir in the bathroom. The instructions were easy to read and setup was not difficult. The creases in the shower curtain melted away instantly! I did have a few issues with the steamer. One issue I was having was with the hose attachment used to steam fabric. There is no way to click it into place. It keeps falling off, over and over. It becomes frustrating, especially when having to hold the base of the product (with the water) in one hand and the hose in the other. I tried to place the base down in a few different places while standing and steaming the curtains. The base would topple over every time, causing me to stop and pick it back up. This too was frustrating. I found that the thickness of the curtains I bought was too much for the steamer. The wrinkles would not release. I had to take the curtains down and resort to my iron and ironing board. Over all, this works great for thin or sheer fabric, it can cumbersome to hold and the attachment that I needed would not click into place. I did use it on my grout tile but I think I needed to use a chemical to brighten the grout. The brush attachment worked well.
I used this on my glass-top stove and it worked great. I've used brillo (gently), I've used 409, I've used Krud Kutter and a bunch of other products. They take forever and it's grimy work. You usually end up with a less-bad mess, but never fully clean. This thing is wizardry. You blast a small area about the size of a playing card, wipe it clean - might have to do it twice.. Move on. So, it takes a while, but when it's done, it's DONE. That ancient yellow waxy oil film melts right off. I got my whole stovetop and control panel clean like brand new. (there is some tough grunge on the burners, I might have to use acetone and a razor blade). But the whole thing overall looks factory-fresh. I'm very impressed. My advice is to use an old cotton towel, and keep using clean spots on the towel to wipe, that grease in the towel will just keep smearing if you don't keep using a fresh patch of towel. Then throw the towel away, you don't want that in your washer. They also say you need distilled water, I'd follow that advice, or you'll probably clog the tiny jet with minerals pretty quick. This thing will use about 6 oz of water in about 10 minutes of cleaning. Hard water will ruin it.

Bissell is a household name but my steamer worked only once and never again.I would like a refund and do not want to risk another.
I love all the different attachments it comes with and the ease of use. I’ve never used one before and decided to purchase this one for the great reviews & it was on sale. It didn’t disappoint! It’s small enough to easily carry while you are using it, but just the right size for water capacity. It cleans very well & is very durable!
I’ve never used a steam cleaner before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this Bissell made the whole process incredibly easy. The setup took just a minute, and the instructions were super clear. Once it heated up, the steam power was impressive—it pulled up dirt I didn’t even realize was on my floors! It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the water tank lasts a good amount of time. I loved that it cleaned and sanitized without any strong chemical smells. My floors looked noticeably cleaner after just one pass. For a first-time user, this was a great experience. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. This Bissell makes steam cleaning simple and effective. Highly recommend!
So far I really love this machine! It's helped get some old wax off my floor, it's cleaned cupboard, doors and spots off the wall. The only thing it didn't do as well on as I had hoped is my glass top stove. It did pretty good, but it didn't get some of the stuff off, I was really hoping it would. This is only day one of using it and I found lots of different things to clean.
Dateline: The Grimy Front Lines of a Domestic Kitchen. There is a species of filth that stubbornly resists all sane forms of attack. It is the baked-on grease of a thousand meals, the petrified residue in the grout lines of a shower, a form of grime so profoundly bonded to the surface that it laughs at the frantic, circular motions of a sponge. To fight it with brute force and chemicals is a fool's errand, a slow, soul-crushing war of attrition where you risk scrubbing away the very finish you're trying to save. It is a battle that grinds a man down. Then this yellow beast arrived: The BISSELL Steam Shot. This is not a cleaning tool in the traditional sense. This is a handheld pressure vessel, a miniature boiler that harnesses the elemental power of pure, hot steam and turns it into a weapon. It feels light in the hand, but it hums with a contained, furious energy. You fill it, you plug it in, and you wait. Then, with the pull of a trigger, you unleash a scalding, high-pressure jet of vapor that dissolves grime on a molecular level. The baked-on crud on the stovetop doesn't get scrubbed away; it melts. The darkness in the tile grout isn't bleached; it is blasted into submission. It is a thing of savage efficiency. The collection of included attachments is a full arsenal, providing specialized nozzles and brushes for a surgical strike into every corner and crevice. The time saved is immense. The effort spared is a gift to your sanity. But this potent machine has its own peculiar demands. It is leashed to the wall by its power cord, a constant tether in your campaign against filth. The water reservoir is modest, requiring strategic planning for larger jobs. And it enforces a mandatory cease-fire, a maddening waiting period while it depressurizes before it will consent to a refill.A word of advice to the new recruit: Do not feed this machine the foul, mineral-choked water from your tap. No, this engine of cleanliness requires pure, distilled water. Give it anything less, and you risk clogging its arteries with the very buildup you seek to destroy. These are minor complaints, the quibbles of a man who has seen the alternative. For an absurdly low price, you are acquiring a tool of incredible power and value. It is a fundamental shift in the way one confronts the never-ending battle against domestic chaos. Highly, highly recommended. Five stars.
