Boy am I impressed with these gloves. I spend a considerable amount of time outdoors working in Aspen, CO. It’s cold and much of my work includes entering data into a mobile device which literally freezes your hands without some sort of protection. I’ve tried other cheaper versions of these gloves and they are BY FAR the best. The thumb is realistic; not to short and not too long. The magnets that hold the related finger/thumb covers make a huge difference in high winds. The are so comfortable with a great grip and I love the detailing on the back of the gloves. Very happy with his purchase and can’t recommend enough.

I love these gloves! No more Velcro! The magnets on these work beautifully. They look very nice and are highly functional. They have a separate cover for your thumb. They fit well and her comfortable.

For context, I have another pair of convertible gloves/mittens that I love. I wanted to find another similar pair, but these are very different. That pair is a lighter weight, full finger and mitten part is more for wind breaking. They do a great job, breaking that wind but I often overheat in them (and why I am trying this pair). I got these to give me an option to keep the gloves on but let my fingers/hands breathe a little bit so I don't overheat. They are very soft and warm, heavier than the other ones, so I still might overheat. (I run hot.)What I like - PROs:- Magnets to keep the mitten parts back. (That is a complaint of my other pair as those flap around if they come loose from a built in pouch meant to hold them back, so magnet here are nice addition)- Can expose the thumb if you'd like to (another compaint of my other pair, as you can't do that in those)- Grippers- Reflective detail- Clip to keep them together when not in use- Fit - seem true to sizeWhat could be improved - CONs:- The hem around/toward the fingertips are rather large and feel kind of bulkyOverall: These might be a bit too warm for me to run in (can see palms sweaty but cold fingers) or too hot with mittens on, but can definitely see using them in everyday when I need warmth but agility with my fingers. The price of this product seems middle of the road for comparable products. I see some that are higher (more well known brands) and then some that are lower (not well known brands).UPDATE: I did a 4-mile running race in them in low 30's temps and they were PERFECT! Because they are not full finger and the mitten part is a bit more rigid (not flimsy and sticking to fingers) they provided the perfect level of warmth without making my hands feel too hot. My only complaint is the magnet hits your finger tips when you clap for fellow runners receiving awards after the race! haha ;)If anything comes up with quality/durability, I will update this review. Otherwise, you can assume it is sufficient and I would recommend.

I have purchased a similiar style from Under Armour in prior years. What this pair have over those is that there is a magnet for when you need to take off the mitten and free your fingers. Instead of having to tuck the mitten part into a sleeve on the back of the glove, a single flip of the mitten engages the magnet. To make matters even better, the thumb has a separate magnet to attach the covering from the knuckle up. They are a bit thinner then the Under Armour version, but remain toasty warm never the less. These run a bit smaller overall, but do stretch with frequent wear. Another thing that has made me switch to this band is that they are way better looking. The UA ones are basically unisex, whereas these have a definite feminine flair. If you walk dogs daily rain, shine or snow, I would highly recommend these. I can hold the leashes even with the mitten/thumb in place. When I have to stop to pick up poo or do any of the other things necessary when walking dogs, it is a snap to convert them from mittens to gloves. In addition there is snap which can be engaged to keep them together when you are not wearing them.I have gotten them soaking wet as well as hand washing them and hanging to dry without any effect. I would recommend either hand washing or placing in a mesh bag in your machine on delicate. In short I recommend these highly. They are durable, comfortable, functional and good looking.

I got these for my mom who walks every day. These were some of the only mittens with removable fingers AND thumbs! She likes to have access to her phone to take pictures on her walks. She hasn't received them yet but I tried them on and I loved them. The magnets are strong and the mittens are warm. They aren't for snow, but walking in the rain and cooler temperatures would be best for these! Thanks for the gloves she will get a ton of use out of them!

WOW on quality of product and workmanship! I'm a jogger not a runner and I run HOT! So I need to be able to cool down in a temporary way. These gloves allow you to remove finger covers, including the thumb cover. This is a game changer! Best running gloves I've ever had! And they're all kept magnets and not Velcro! They are warm, but not too warm. They are thick but not too thick and they fit great on my big hands. Truly comfortable and right sized!

These mittens are great for dog walking when you need your fingers free. I love the magnets that hold the top in place and the feature that opens the thumb as well. But the wrist cuff is so tight that it's difficult to put on and remove the mittens. The biggest disappointment is that they just aren't warm enough for early morning walks when it's colder than twenty degrees.

Comfortable. Lightweight. Not exceptionally warm but my hands are always very cold. I like the magnets. I like the thumb cover. My hand length is 7" and I got a Small/Medium. They fit quite loosely in all ways (length, width, wrist cuff). I wish they had an XS.
