This is the CUTEST addition to my daughter's play kitchen! I will note that she is under 3 years old, so I had to remove a few pieces from play. We removed the butter (once cut the slices are small) and the fabric top from the honey jar. Well, I actually *didn't* remove the fabric initially because I thought it was adhered properly...then I looked over and saw my toddler taking the fabric out of her mouth. I realized it wasn't actually glued on or anything. So definitely remove that piece before play if your toddler still puts everything in their mouth. Otherwise, this set is absolutely perfect and all of the sandwich pieces look so real. Love that they velcro together in any order!

I'm always in the market for these Melissa and Doug style toys and for pretend food toys because my kids love both, but this UMU version is really exciting for our family. The quality of the wood and materials in this product really took me aback, because it's even better than actual Melissa and Doug stuff. Everything's really solid and feels fantastic to the touch, and all the Velcro holds really well. Anyway, what you get in this set is one toaster, one BLT, one jar of honey, one jar of strawberry jam, one sunny-side egg, one plate, one knife, and one stick of butter. Everything's made of wood or wood plus Velcro. The jar and honey don't open and are just decorative. The butter can be cut into three pieces because it has separate parts joined by Velcro. The BLT has two slices of bread, one slice of bacon, one piece of lettuce, one slice of tomato, one slice of Swiss cheese, one slice of avocado, and one slice-like toy piece composed to three pickle slices. Everything in the BLT can be separated and rejoined by Velcro, so you take the bread from the BLT to play with the toaster. The bread goes about 90% of the way into the toaster in its default position, and then you can press down on a lever on the toaster to push it up for grabbing. The toaster also has a wheel for the heat setting that provides realistic resistance and clicking sounds. In general, the aesthetics of the product are really good, and everything feels as good as it looks. The price is fair as well, so I think the toy is definitely worth buying.

This is a fun set to go with a play kitchen. The items could be a little bigger, but it's a generally nice set.

Very cute little set. Great for a 2-4 year old who likes to pretend play in their play kitchen. Well made. Good value for the price I paid. Nice soft colors, precise to the colors as shown.
