Great first detector! Purchased for my granddaughter so she could “treasure hunt” with me. Hid a few coins to inspire some enthusiasm and it worked great. It’s actually a great little detector, accurate and super lightweight and easy for her to use.

Excellent value. It is sold as a toy but is sturdy and very sensitive to any metals, including silver and gold.

Love it!! So fun and entertaining for the children. I got it for my nephew and it’s a perfect qift to keep the children outdoors and searching to explore different things and also be in nature. He uses it at the beach and has a blast while doing it with his mama. The metal detector is also very accurate and light weight for my nephew (his 4 1/2) . The metal detector is also not too long or short for my nephews height.

I got this and it barely works. All it does is beep and you never know if you actually found something or not. It was expensive for what I got and it got very boring. I thought it was meant for kids but I couldn't even figure it out. Do not buy!!!

My son is after a metal detector to find some "Treasure". Saw this on Amazon for a Christmas purchase, it was delivered quickly. It was easy to clip all together which extension pole depending on hight of child. Feels good quality for the price. Son is going to love finding coins #Treasure in the sand pit in the garden. Like the fact it has c charger built in battery to save the Christmas rush of battery costs, also just plug it in and recharge again and again. Hours and hours of fun.Comes with a bag and two tools to start digging...... Just got to be careful he don't start digging up the lawn which has just freshly been laid !!

Man muss das Ding erstmal über 24 Stunden laden, aber dann funktioniert es super und der Akku hält auch ein paar Tage spielen aus.

This metal detector for kids is as pictured and described. I got this metal detector for my son to play with and look for things in our yard. It is able to pick up metals, we’ve found nails and metal stakes but haven’t found anything fun but we hope to take it out when we go exploring next. He has a lot of fun playing with it and loves digging for treasure. It is a fairly lightweight item. The feel of the plastic doesn’t feel super sturdy. I do not like the connector where the cable connects together either but I think it’s nice it can be disassembled for storing if you wanted. It’s a decent item and will definitely keep your kid occupied for a while.

this is the best gift! To yourself! Buy this for your kid and keep them busy at the beach for hours. Maybe they would even find something cool or you could hide a couple things in the sand, but this was a super great investment for the beach for the kids.

This children's metal detector is made of metal and hard plastic with included miniaturized tools for metal detecting. It works okay; we tested it indoors and got it to detect some ordinary metals such as a bottle cap and a coin. It did not seem to pick up anything in the wild when we tested it at the beach.The biggest problem with this metal detector is the charger port was too loose to accept a plug. There was no way to plug it in and, after being shipped with about half a charge, it went dead and was never able to become powered up again.It worked okay, especially for little kids, I wouldn't rely on it for finding treasure in wild. If there was a way to get the charger port fixed it would probably be a lot of fun. Scientific toys are great gifts for kids and sometimes inspire them to get interested in learning. Fix the charger port and it will be a great thing for an inquisitive kid to have!

Great gift for beach vacations, keeps your kids entertained with little effort. The battery life won't last an entire trip, but its good for a couple hours. Not too heavy and its actually not bad at detecting items close to the surface. Found some coins and lots of trash lol
