My daughter quite likes this phone.
What is in the box:There is a screen protector in the box too. Not only a phone case. So contact Blu or seller to see if there is a screen protector in the box before you buy.I didn't know it and spent $10 more dollars to get a PACK of 4 in the same purchase. As for the camera; It can only zoom in 4 times instead of 8 times. Or it can somehow to make it zoom in more, I don't have idea!!!12/08/2024 wrote;I am back to edit my review.I upgrade it to 5 stars. Because ....The phone is no longer a data eater. I did factory reset and waited for one week. It didn't consume lots of data. After one week, I started downloading the apps I need. It didn't consume lots of data either,One more week later, 11/30/24, I added 1 GB to my plan. It 12/08/24 uses 800 MB so far, 9 days. The review below is outdated, no longer true because the data problem solved by doing Factory Reset.Old review, no longer true below:No idea, why this phone consume a lot of data. Only 1 week, it used up my data 5GB. (My plan from Mint Mobile only gives me 5 GB every month). I don't watch video, either play game nor listen music! Why does it consume data so quick?????I rated it 5 stars before. I now downgrade it to 4 stars because this phone seems to use too many mobile data. This phone may not good for the person who doesn't buy unlimited data plan. So certainly, it is not good for the person who just buy the plan with 5 GB data or 10 GB data.I have contacted Blu support and am waiting for a solution.10/26/2024: I downgraded the star again. Now I rate it 3 stars because of the issue of data usage.BLU already replied, but the suggestions not works. The phone keeps consuming lot of data.I have used this phone for 16 days. It has used 9.62 GB (I don't play game, watch video nor listen music). The Android OS has used 8.44 GB / 16 days.Help! Anyone can help?? (12/08 wrote: No need to help any more. The problem solved.)
Great phone, it has lots of space and it's unlocked and works well on TMobile network. Happy I bought it.
This is inferior to the old dual sim Blu phone that my mom had 5-6 years ago, but overall it’s a good replacement for her temporary low tier Samsung phone that we got from T-mobile. Happy with purchase
Good budget phone. No crap installed as free advertisement shovelware. I'd be happier if I could personally access and extract/replace the battery but that's a future issue, not something that needs addressing now. It has not upset me, but my provider tells me it is unable to use VoLTE data.
Finally a reasonable priced phone! Way stoked with this phone, easy to set up with auto copying of files, programs and settings of my old Google Pixel phone. I am older retired IT Pro on a strict budget and can not comprehend peeps spending 500-1000 every few yrs for a phone. Crazy, after all it is "phone". I primarily use it for texting, phone. Good enough for TikTok videos and pics/social media. Programs work fine. Battery is super. My only complaint is sometimes there is a delay in the touch screen doing certain things. Waiting a split second longer is no issue and does not happen very often. GREAT DEAL and love my new phone! Saved hundreds of bucks!
Average battery life, I do charge everyday.. Still learning how to customize it to my preference.. Great value. Kinda large but it works. Love that it came with case , charger and adapter plus ear plugs
I wish I never bought this phone. I will never buy anything Android 14. You won't even be able to navigate from one thing to another without it closing on you. This sounds like a great idea in theory, but in practice, it's pure garbage behavior. Based on your ram, it will run about one thing and as soon as you navigate away, you have to relaunch it. This doesn't even help your memory or battery since the apps still run. Don't even bother with virtual memory, it won't help this.Ever sit in a queue in you're browser, now it will never keep your place in line. Your position will reset to the back even if you stare at the browser. Especially if you so change windows or let the display go out. And even then, it's not keeping my place in line.Play a game, then want to reply to a text real quick or look something up? Now that game will have to load for 20 seconds all over again.Even if you change your settings & utilize developer settings, it won't matter. This phone won't handle more than one task at a time with it's ram.Not to mention it keeps trying to add games I never chose to add. The camera will not recognize qr codes, its not built into the stock camera app this phone comes with. The first few weeks I had to constantly remove gaming apps it would secretly install until I found & uninstalled the source app it came pre-installed with.5 years ago this ram & storage space would have been more than sufficient. Now, it's a nightmare, I doubt you'll ever have enough ram.
I've been buying blu phones for years ! I work with computers so I know my machines these Blu phones in my opinion are so above so many of the other brands ..I mean when you look atthe specs for the money ? There is no comparison !I know my wifes phone ( starts with an I ) ususally only has 1 bar signal when my Blu has 3 bars ..the antenna in these phones are unreal ..I get service in my basement when she doesn't ..the dual sim card is excellent for the sd card for more storage ( 256gig ) I paid atthe time when these first came out $189 and now for $99 it's the deal of the decade I think ..compareed to her phone I paid $1050 these are no brainers ..you buy one you'll never go back to any other brand !
