I love the concept of this push up board, and I do want a product that has this functionality. The rating reflects the price to value ($19.99 when I got it). I would have been happy with just the board and the grips, but this came with a bunch of extra stuff like bands, and some clips to attach some other bands to the end of the board. I'm not sure how the colored bands incorporate into this setup. I guess an all-in-one workout while traveling?I was surprised to see 2 AAA batteries in the package, but turns out that is part of the "guided training". Basically when you turn it on, there is a proximity sensor that counts reps as your chest comes close to the board and sounds a beep. That works really well.The color coded guide for the placement of the grips is convenient for variation, and I'll use that to rotate through different positions over a week.This product is fairly lightweight, and while it is sturdy while you are doing pushups, the hinges that it folds on don't seem like they will hold up over the long term. The hinge sturdiness is really important because the amount of effort it takes to remove a grip from the board is a lot. I have to put my feet down on either side of the grip and pull up with about 30lb of force to get it to pop the grip out, and with that force, the board flexes, if the hinges get that force, then they'll likely snap.I'm definitely going to get $20 worth out of it, and will try to make some modifications so that the grips are easier to remove without affecting stability and mount it to a base so that it no longer folds. So 4 stars. 5 if it were sturdier and focused on just being a push up board, 3 if it were more expensive. Either way, I'm glad to have it and will use it often.

For what the cost on this product is, it’s fantastic for the intro or travel push-up board.I wish there was a clip that would hold it shut, but it didn’t come with one. There is a hole on either side that looks like something could go in there, but it definitely wasn’t part of my package.I also only received one carabiner for the bands, so I can’t connect to both of them to do a full workout. A small carabiner will fix this, but it’s just another item I didn’t receive.It’s sturdy enough to hold your weight, but can be easily bent and broken if not careful with storage or fold it the wrong way. The handles are pretty secure under my full weight and snap in snuggly— almost too snuggly, they’re hard to get out.The digital counter works great and picks up motion of the weight down and is surprisingly accurate.It comes with a little drawstring bag for everything, my drawstring broke immediately lol

I was skeptical about this product, as many fitness tools are gimmicks. This was definitely a pleasant surprise in how well it works. It has multiple colored slots where you insert the handles. The handles stay put and don't fall out as I feared it would. The base also points out which muscles you're working if you place the handles there. This is helpful so you don't need to refer to a chart or hold on to a piece of paper.This unit is slightly better than others because it has a digital counter built in. It senses when you're near and will beep (quite loudly) with each pushup, and also keep track for you. It also conveniently comes with batteries. The unit folds when not in use, although it still takes up some room. While it's plastic, it's surprisingly strong, so it will likely withstand a lot of use.As a bonus, this comes with elastic bands that you can use for various muscle building exercises. It's used as a supplement and not as a main exercise, but it gives you a wider ranger of things you can do with this package. The handles are soft and comfortable yet sturdy. Overall, this is better than most of the other units out there - it's well made, has well-labeled slots, the handles are well made, it has a digital counter, and it comes with resistance bands. Definitely worth the money. Highly recommended!

Bought this for my husband. He tried it out and said he loves it. The design of it and portability can't be bet. It folds up really small and even comes with a storage bag. There are 20 grips that can be put on the bottom to prevent sliding. My husband used it on the carpet and it didn't move. It seems to be sturdy it held his weight (150) without looking like it's going to break.The different colors on the board let you know the different muscles the push up is targeting. A really cool feature is that every push up you do it counts it for you and makes a beeping sound so you know. It also has a timer display as well.It comes with resistance bands you can use separately and two that can be attached to the board itself.My husband and I give 5 stars and definitely recommend.
