Dyson Cool™ Tower Fan amplifies airflow to cool you. Air Mulitplier™ technology amplifies the surrounding air, providing an uninterrupted stream of smooth airflow. Effective cooling all year round.
Nice looking and does a nice job cooling the room. It is not as quiet as other Dyson fans but the noise is acceptable
I love bladeless. The noise is so much less than a fan with blades. I have it on the lowest setting, and it still produces a good amount of air flow from across the room. The fact that I can turn it up from desk with the remote is awesome. It feels really well made and I feel like it will last a long time. It's not too big and does not get in the way. The price is definitely worth it.
Pricey but beautiful fan. Dyson’s always look great and work well. Very quiet yet moves a lot of air. I like this model because not replacement filters are ever required.
This is the taller of the dyson fans and although blue and gray, it is still attractive. The unit cools down a large room fairly well. It is the high quality you'd expect from Dyson, and the price was excepetional on a limited deal. Very easy to ssemblee, light weight. It did rattle a bit at the beginning, but this stopped after it ran for a bit.
I've owned this fan for nearly 3 weeks now, and being my first Dyson fan, I agree with other reviewers about the lackluster strength of the air speed/wind flow versus $20-$50 fans. The further away you move from the Dyson fan (even at its highest 10 level setting), the less that you feel the wind flow. I believe this is due to the design of the air flow. When you turn the fan on without the bladeless part attached, you can feel the wind pushing upwards from the motor at the bottom. The purpose of the bladeless attachment is then to push the air flow horizontally througout the room. This type of airflow (like a turbine) differs from a typical $20-$50 blade fan where the wind of a blade is already directed outward horizontally. Even the tower fans from brands like Dreo and Lasko direct more air flow through the room because of the directness of the airflow. With Dyson fans, the airflow is re-directed horizontally since the motor at the bottom is pushing the air upwards to begin with. I believe it is this design of Dyson fans which causes it to be less powerful in terms of air flow than a typical $20 fan or tower fans. Nonetheless, Dyson fans do have one of the most attractive and sleek designs in comparison to many other fan and even some of the expensive $100 to $200 tower fans. This Dyson fan will be a great addition to any room of any style due to its sleek appearance and small form factor. At the highest level of 10, the fan does peak in sound, so it will be rather annoying in a quiet room, but at level 5 to 6, it strikes good balance between great air flow and sound in a quiet room.
We’ve been using this fan in the bedroom for over three weeks and have fallen in love. Only waist high and with a very small footprint, it is not intrusive or in the way at all. The highest speed puts out quite a bit of air and is a little bit noisy, but not loud enough to interrupt sleep. The lowest speed can still be felt across the room and is almost silent. After years of taking fans apart to clean the blades, this one is indeed a breeze with just a wipe to remove any dust that might settle on it. The remote control is magnetic and attaches firmly to the top of the fan or can be removed and carried with you if you’re across the room. Love it!
I’ve used the Dyson Cool AM07 for a few weeks and it’s become my go-to fan for bedroom and living room use. The bladeless design is genuinely safer around kids and pets and is much easier to dust than a grille fan. Airflow is smooth (no buffeting), and the oscillation + tall tower form spread air nicely across a seating area. It’s also quiet enough for sleep on lower settings, with a consistent white-noise character that fades into the background. The remote (with quick access to speed, oscillation, and sleep timer) is handy, and setup took minutes. Know what it isn’t: this is not an air conditioner—it won’t drop room temperature, it just moves air efficiently. It’s also pricey compared with solid conventional fans. On higher speeds you will hear it, and the airflow is more directional than a box fan, so placement still matters.
Awesome and very very quiet still not sure about the price point! But it’s a great fan! Highly recommend this if you have the money! Super quiet! And pushes out a fair amount of air, easy assembly also!
