08-03-2026These have worked really well for me in strong currents. I love the caps that keep them folded up for storage.You do have adjust the prongs pretty often as they will bend out and not lock in as snug. That's not a problem for me. I use them a few times a year and haven't broken one yet. I could see if you were using these every weekend they would weaken and break eventually. That may be an inherent issue with the sputnick style design though.

08-03-2026Overall they work really good, I like the quality of the materials, and the weight is spot-on (pure lead?). My only issue is the gap in the loop at the top is a little too big and I lost one on my first day fishing because my snap swivel wire came through that gap. I'll be closing the gaps on the ones I have left and will likely buy more in the future.
