The kids love to learn and this is a great learning tool, especially for children starting to learn spelling and sound groups. A great tool for teachers to use with young students. Great for parents to teach spelling and sound groups such as cat, sat, fat, rat, mat, etc. Children learn phonics easily when sounds are grouped together. This device can aid in spelling, helps teach phonics, and can be used by older children to manipulate letters into words that they can feel through tactile manipulation.

Our 4 year old boy was not too excited about this learning toy. I thought it was great, but it isn't for me, it's for him. Might be a boy thing. He was more interested at looking at the cards than working on his spelling. That said it is of high quality and good value.

Love this very much. I've been looking for more toys that don't have a bunch of things they can lose. Although some of the cards have been misplaced, he has learned a LOT from this practice so I really love this toy

My 6 year old loves playing with this, and I love that she has fun while learning and isn’t sitting in front of a screen. She figured out very quickly how to use it, and it has helped quite a bit with her learning to read

What a great spelling board! This is a really awesome hands-on learning tool. It’s well made and has been a wonderful resource for spelling practice with my 5-year-old. It’s a perfect addition to our homeschooling tools. She can easily grab it and work independently, but it also creates great opportunities for me to get involved and guide her learning.I love that the letters are separated into consonants and vowels—that’s such a thoughtful touch and really helps solidify the difference between the two. The letters slide easily and don’t need to be in alphabetical order, which is exactly how I prefer it. When letters are mixed up, kids can’t rely on singing the ABCs to find a letter—they have to actually recognize what the letter looks like. That’s a much stronger foundation for real learning.I also really like that there are two ways to learn with this set. The classic version lets you place the card in the front slot, where you can see both the picture and the word—great for beginners. But the advanced version allows you to slide the card into the back slot, which hides the word and only shows the picture. This requires kids to spell from memory using just the picture as a clue. It’s a fantastic way to go beyond simple memorization and really reinforce letter recognition, spelling, and reading skills. There’s a generous number of flashcards included, all stored neatly in a reusable box. The cards range in difficulty—from simple words like “car,” “cat,” and “bus” to longer words like “apple,” “shirt,” and “hotdog.” It even came with an ABC writing workbook, which I thought was a really thoughtful and unexpected bonus. And the included canvas bag fits everything perfectly—the spelling board, card box, and workbook all store together neatly, which I really appreciate. This set is seriously impressive. If you’re working on spelling with your child or want a screen-free, no-subscription learning tool, I highly recommend this one!
