After a deep dive into specs and zoomed in pictures, this is the one I chose. It assembles super easy and works great. The height is 3”-4” lower than the one that came with our Marcy smith machine and is a much better height for women to be able to have their feet on the ground. I think it’s actually a standard gym height and for some reason the Marcy one is just very tall. One warning is this quick adjust system is more finger pinch able than the pin through a square tube style but much easier to adjust. Just give a warning to younger users about watching fingers. The wheels are a must for a system that requires you to remove the bench for certain exercises like a smith machine.
Great bench. It’s solid and stable, well built. I am 6’2” 220# pressing 3 plates and it feels very good, perfect support. It took 5 minutes to assemble and the wheels make moving it around the gym super easy. If you don’t have a bench get this one. If you have an inferior bench, get this one. Highly recommend
I’m amending my review (see below). The bench was easier to construct than I originally thought, two handymen with the right wrench sets put it together, about 1/2 hour. The instructions made it seem a lot more complicated than it wound up being. That said, it’s a good, sturdy bench for the right price point for me. It’s a smaller bench so that is also good for me.I haven’t even set this bench up and I hate it! I hired a handyman with power tools, wrench sets and tools not in the average home toolbox, or ability. I liked the manufacturer and the opportunity to purchase a quality bench for less but the saying goes ‘you get what you paid for’ fits here. I sent specs to three possible handymen, only one took on the job-for $50!I am upset with myself for not tackling this sooner as I would have returned the bench.
Great weight bench, Built like a tank.1. Packaging: The bench arrived super well packed with zero scrapes or dings.2. Assembly: 4 pieces to bolt to the main chasis. The back legs with the wheels (2 bolts), the bottom seat (2 bolts), the backrest (2 bolts). Done begin working out.3. Workmanship: The frame is all super heavy duty steel, solid welds, not flimsy at all. The wheels glide smoothly.4. The seat and backrest: The description say leather. It feels more like vinyl but that's not a bad thing. You'll be wiping it clean with rag after every workout. Right? The padding is firm. One caveat: If you are used to benching heavy (225 lbs. and more) with a 10" or wider backrest, you may feel a little pressure on your shoulders since this bench is only 9" across.
Wow, just wow… ordered this bench for my new major fitness power rack. I’d much rather put together three more power racks with cables than to try to construct this poorly made bench again. It came in the box with missing hardware and my hardware bag was already opened. I am missing parts and had to hammer miss sized bolts into the miss sized frame. I’m not able to level out the bottom seat of the bench, so I don’t even fit on the bench laying down. I’m 6’8” and I have never had an issue with a weight bench covering my body. It also came damaged in the box. ( see photos )
I picked this bench up during the spring sale, and it’s an absolute beast. If you’re looking for an affordable, well-built adjustable bench that you can trust under heavy loads, this is it. I feel completely safe going heavy on this bench — something I wouldn’t say about most of the adjustable options floating around Amazon.A couple of minor gripes: it sits a bit lower than I’d prefer and is slightly narrow at the shoulders. But these were known trade-offs going into the purchase and are far from deal-breakers.Overall, it’s a great bench — solid build, smooth and simple adjustments, easy to move around, and stores conveniently. A fantastic addition to any home gym.
Had some minor issues with located the bolts. Some were in a bag, and some were on the bench, but the customer service was fantastic. Vanessa was fast and even directly gave me a phone number I could text further with pictures of what I thought I was missing. After attempting the bench, I was able to locate the missing bolts and put it together. It's great, sturdy and comfortable. If you're thinking about it and not sure, do it. The customer service is top tier and the product does not disappoint.
It may be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for with this bench. No creaking or bending when lifting heavy. Very sturdy and stable. Easy to set incline and move with the handle and wheels. It does take up a little room as there’s no way to store it, but you can just wheel it out of the way. Great design as the seat also inclines. Happy with my purchase.
