My husband and I both got a pair of these to wear to Rocky Mountain National Park in March and they were perfect. We never slipped the first time! The sizing was very accurate and we were able to navigate the snow a lot easier than those without. We were easily able to fit these over our hiking boots and we were so glad to have had them for our hikes. We hiked well over 12 miles in them! Highly recommend these!

These things ae easy to put on and walk in and grip the ice incredibly well. They are affordably priced and very durable They don't bend, chip, or become dull even walking on cement and concrete. This winter was just brutal. Our driveway and the sidewalks were solid sheets of ice 3 to 4 inches think. You could skate on them. It made it very dangerous to take the dogs out and walk on the ice. I fell several times before buying these. With this product on my Merrell shoes, I could walk normally. They dug into the sheets of ice and provided amazing traction, completely eliminated the risk of slipping and falling.

I've never used spikes like these before but these were very easy to put on over my boots and just as easy to remove. They were comfortable while in use on our very short 1.3km hike up and back to Peyto Lake in early May.Saw two other people fall on trail and a whole bunch of others struggle but we just walked up even moderately steep sections with no problems.Highly recommend as they are lightweight and easy to carry "just in case" for trails that might have ice.

I am planning a trip to visit my sister/family in Alaska. She mentioned be prepared for high adventure mountain-backpacking, and a day trip on a glacier. This thick-elastic rubber spiked shoe fits snug and easy to put over my extra large boots. It took me a few tries to figure out how the Velcro strap attaches. Simple-read the instructions. I wanted assurance that I would be safe on this adventure and the crampon cleats would be comfortable with prolonged wear. The metal spike appears solid and did not bend or become dull.. I practiced hiking on gravel-rocky terrain, steep slopes, and slippery areas near streams. When the winter ice and snow came, this was my real test. The metal spikes gripped into the icy walkways, slopes, off road and I felt staple climbing steps. I also, worked around my property to break them in, with a small benefit of aerating my yard. I am confident in my footing and ready to take on my next experience. They are compact and easy to store in my truck for the right occasion.

Worked great today using them for the first time. We started a short and relatively easy 3.5 mile hike and within 200 years of the trail head we saw it was very icy. We threw the micro spikes over our boots, they went on easy and we hiked for over 3 miles. The spikes held their position on our boots great, and we quickly had confidence that their grip would not allow for any slipping regardless of position, incline, surface, etc. They were surprisingly comfortable to hike in, even over a trail with lots of rocks and roots.The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the Velcro straps kind of felt like cheaper quality that did not hold very well, as one came undone fairly quickly, although once I re-strapped it a second time it held the rest of the hike. If I could, I would rate them 4.5 stars.
