When putting a projector on this stand it can become wobbly and top heavy where it leans over many times and have to reposition it to stay standing.

If you have projector and you dont want to make holes into your wall then this is the right product to buy. It took 5 minutes to assemble and it was easy. I placed it behind my recliner and it's high enough to be at a good angle and position. I recommend this and I hope you read this comment before you buy

This projector stand really is a game changer and allowed me to take full advantage of using my projector. Previously I had to have my projector on a coffee table in front of my couch. The projection size was okay, but really nothing to write home about, probably around 80". But the more annoying thing was that it took up so much room on the coffee table with cords draped in the side. This stand made all of those annoyances go away. I placed the stand behind my couch, which gave me the extra distance required to get around a 100" projection, not to mention it freed up my coffee table!Assembly was very straightforward and came with all the tools you needed. The directions were clear as well. The stand itself is basically all metal, with the exception of some of the components on the projector mount, which in my opinion is appropriate. One thing I love about the stand is it's adjustable height and how height it can go. It pretty much will clear any couch. The stability of the stand is okay, since the bottom is a solid metal plate, but probably wouldn't be a bad idea to add additional weight on the base just to be safe.Ultimately I am extremely happy with my purchase, and the functionality it gave me was well worth the money. I highly recommend this product for budget theater setups where wall or ceiling mounts are not an option.

Works and fits perfectly for where I needed it to be. I don’t have traditional TV in bedroom. I have a projector and like to move my bedroom around occasionally so this stand helps with flexibility when I want to rearrange my room. I can also move this into another room in a pinch.

Overall, it works as intended. I do wish that the base and poles were heavier, so the projector doesn't sway as much. I have a projector attached to it, the same size as pictured in the product, and I needed to adjust it quite a bit for it to stay still. For example, the projector can cause it to be more front heavy, and the poles can tilt or become slanted at certain angles and positions. If the base were heavier and the poles were a bit heavier or of a thicker quality, this wouldn't be too much of an issue. However, if you are patient enough, depending on your projector model, this stand is pretty good for what it is intended to do!

Contrast to the defective and damaged projector the stand is sturdy considering it looked cheap and flimsy at first sight...

Stand is fantastic. It allowed us to place the projector directly in the middle of the wall at the distance we wanted. It’s sturdy but if you place something heavy on the base you will feel better about it not wobbling. Anything 5 pounds or more does the trick. I actually found the included ball head too unstable and attached the projector directly to the mount without the ball head. Hasn’t moved at all and have used it in several locations around the home. When you extend all the way you’ll need an extension cord, my power cable was too short :).

I believe I was provided a used one that just plain didn’t work. It looked to have rust in areas on each of the separate pieces as well as the telescoping tube not being able to be extended. From the looks of the outer tube something squeezed the pipe likely causing the inner tube to not slide up and down. It is made sturdy and likely would have been a good stand but I definitely didn’t get a good one.
