We love these jackets! They are warm from the Omni heat and lightweight, making it kid friendly. Great for layering. Quality is as expected from the Columbia brand. My 3 year old pictured in the middle (32.5lbs) is wearing a size xs (4/5) because he kept stealing his brother’s (4yo, slim, 38.5lb) coat so I figured I’d save some money and utilize layers while he grows into it. He doesn’t seem to mind.

True to size, my son hates heavy coats so this is warm yet light. Layers with a sweatshirt for very cold days. Washes well.

Quality is excellent and the jacket is very well made. I was worried the stone would be too stark white but in real life it’s actually a very nice warm stone grey color and looks fantastic with the black which also isn’t too black - more like a very dark dark grey.. It runs slightly slender in my opinion. Stitching is great, it’s fits comfortably and is warm. I love that it’s not too bulky and will easily fit into a backpack if needed. The zipper is smooth. It’s a great jacket for climates with mild winters - like I have in southern california. A wonderful jacket that will get a lot of wear this winter!
