08-03-2026I love this coat. However, I debated giving 4 stars because it is not suitable for the extreme cold rating it has and I bought it to have a very warm winter coat. It's very pretty, flattering and comfortable, but I did have to layer a fleece sweatshirt and long sleeved shirt underneath it on days under 30 degrees if I am going to be outside for a while. I also agree with the other reviewers about the gap in the attachable fur on the hood. I wore a winter hat underneath the hood most of the time so it wasn't a big deal. The pockets are not lined and I think they should be for warmth and softness. Still happy with my purchase but I do wish it was warmer as advertised. I recommend sizing up, especially if you want to be able to layer.

08-03-2026Being more of a pear shape, I find it really hard to find a long jacket that can do up around my hips while not being too baggy in the top. This jacket is fitted and roomy in the hips. It also has a 2-way zipper to enable movement during activities and/or comfort when sitting in a vehicle. It is light and warm. Enjoying it.

08-03-2026This coat is beautiful. It is heavier than I usually wear and is water resistant. The hood is huge and I have a head that is on the higher end of average (over 22 inches). The color is very vibrant and it both zips and buttons with huge pockets in the front and a zipper pocket on the breast which is plenty big enough for a phone. No pockets on the inside, which I wish it had since I will be traveling in the winter in Europe and that would keep my passport and money safer. This coat is not for temperatures above freezing in my opinion (but I live in a northern state and am used to the cold). It is also longer than the usual winter jacket, which is great. I may update after spending some time in very cold weather.

08-03-2026I have several Columbia jackets and love how warm they are, long lasting, and that I can feel I have somewhat a fashionable look even in winter. I have one Columbia jacket that lasted for 10 years (!!)This gray coat is no exception to Columbia quality. I got it thinking I would use it for late fall, but it’s warm enough for sure to use in winter. I’ll rotate this one in with my other short jacket from them and very long jacket. Definitely pleased I bought it, looks beautiful and will match a lot.

08-03-2026I do love the length and thickness of this coat. It’s warm without being overly thick. I am concerned for the two way zipper. Both coats I’ve had by Colombia had had issues with the two way zippers. I hope this one holds up. It’s difficult to zip at the bottom

08-03-2026This is a warm winter coat. It fits true to size. I like that it has a hood because you can cover your head easily when it is cold outside. This is the second winter coat that I ordered from this brand. I have been satisfied with both coats.
