This is basically an entire gym all in one system. I've been using it now for several weeks and have been able to do full-body workouts. The resistance bands offer a wide range of "weight" on their own, but the fact that you can also double them up means I won't "outgrow" this system anytime soon. I will say, it was very overwhelming at first learning how to use this. There are a lot of functional pieces, and it took me a while to figure out what each piece was and how to use it.Thankfully, the company's website offers a ton of helpful tutorials, which I found beneficial.
This is a fantastic all-in-one home gym based on resistance bands. I've been using this for the past couple months, and have noticed a marked improvement in my pushup strength, lateral raises, and chest pushes. The ease with which you can set this up and swap between different functions is amazing, and the convenience of having this entire setup available in a backpack makes it perfect for taking with you to work and getting a quick workout in during your lunch break.Make sure to watch the posted video from the creator on how to configure the bow and bands for different workout types, it really helped with setup.
This is a good innovation to create a workout equipment that can be used for multiple things, giving you the option to workout and hit a variety of different exercises for a decent home workout (For those of us who can't/don't make it to the gym that day). It's a cool gadget, as it can be built to do things such as squatting, pressing, pulling, and push up movements. It comes in a box that can store the items when dissembled, which is another good thing - leaving space that doesn't need to be used to have to store the loose parts.I do like the idea of the bow, as well as the resistance band implementation. More so, it was created independently and I always support that. Do what you love and love what you do, I think it's great to be able to create something of your own.My only issue I have had so far, is disassembling the bow. The bow snaps in using two push-buttons that you push in and slide inside. The issue is, when trying to push the buttons to un-snap it, sometimes it can be very time-consuming and strenuous. This is due to either the bars not being slick enough to slide right out, or the buttons not being pushed (all) the way in, to slide it out. I struggled trying to pull one side out and had to leave it until I finally got it pried off two days later. This made me feel more wary about setting it up again, because that's a workout in itself. It also deters me from using it, because I have to worry about being able to actually dissemble it without any issues.Beyond that, I may just use it for curls, since it doesn't require the bar. I do think if there was an easier way for the bars to connect, this would be way better. Snap-in buttons have always had these issues, which is why I never cared much for them.Beyond that, they have tutorial videos to assemble everything. They also seem to have good support, as they encourage you to reach out for any issues.
I've been using this for a few weeks now and I love it. I got rid of a giant pulley weight system with the EVO bow. It's so much easier to switch between workouts, it's portable, and effective with a great warranty. The resistance of the bands is more favorable to how I like to work out, and I haven't even come close to using all the bands I could to max out weight. The product also came with great documentation and has a website with a ton of workouts in short to the point video clip form.If you are on the fence about this, grab one, you won't be disappointed! I also compared this to other brands which were much more expensive and with less features.
This is a really cool option to have either for portability, or just to use in one place. The components here are very flexible, and can be configured for lots of different movements and exercises. It’s relatively easy to use and can provide a really intense workout if you want it to. It doesn’t take up a huge amount of space, so it’s perfect for offices or small rooms, apartments, etc. Pretty cool idea!
I had to update my review after putting the EVO Bow through a serious full-body workout while traveling. At home, it didn’t get much use since I’ve got a more complete gym setup. But on the road - where I had no equipment - it really came through and surprised me.Pros:- Super portable and easy to pack for trips- You can definitely hit high resistance and keep progressing- Works for a true full-body workout- Feels more like “real” weight training than most travel optionsCons:- Switching bands takes time, so supersets are kind of a pain- If you’re going heavy on squats, deadlifts, etc., you’ll want a spotter- At $150, I wouldn’t buy it if I already had consistent access to a gymBottom line: If you travel a lot or need a backup option, this is a solid piece of equipment. For me, it went from “meh” to “actually impressive” once I relied on it during a trip. Glad I gave it another shot!
