This stuff will work great for transporting my military uniform across the country and keeping it from getting damaged. This also allowed me to keep all portions of the uniform in the same bag to include my shoes and hat. The only downside like most of other people reviewing this product is in order to open it up. You have to remove the contents in the middle of the duffel. Such as my hat or other loose items.

The Hilomon Convertible Duffle Bag is a great piece of luggage for clothing, suits, etc that need to be left on a hanger and not folded down. I bought this for a trip with a 22 hour flight time and had a full suit and other clothes on hangers, as well as, shoes(3pr), folded clothes, electronics, personals and other extras. This carry-on handled it all with ease and in the end kept my suit and other clothes looking amazing even after lengthy travel. I wish I had one of these years ago as it would have saved me from so much pressing and ironing at my destinations. It really does handle a lot of items with ease. Love It!!!!!!!

I was flying to my daughter’s wedding and had to transport a tuxedo and another suit. I didn’t want to shove them in a suitcase and also I didn’t want to put them in a larger suitcase that I had to check because if the bag got lost I would have been SOL for the dinner and the wedding. This bag is genius and fit perfectly in the storage above my seat. No wrinkles either when I took out the clothes. Highly recommend!

I must say, when I first saw this item available for review, that I didn’t have much faith in the anticipated quality. Just a fixation that crept in before I had even requested it. But it looked intriguing so I took a chance.And I'm very glad that I did. As soon as I received it, I immediately put it to the test. I was able to feel how good the quality is as soon as I put my hands on it, and had a chance to examine the details. It didn’t take me long to figure out how to work it and to see how many individual compartments it comes equipped with. This is the perfect carry-on bag for those traveling on business, on vacation, a wedding, or anywhere where more formal attire is required. There's lots of space for a suit, or a dress, as well as the compartments for additional items. To be honest, I had never used something like this, so I was suitably impressed. I was even able to fit a pair of shoes in one of the compartments and it was nowhere near the suit I had previously placed. I did, however notice, that after a few hours, the pants on my suit were a little wrinkled, but nothing a quick steam won’t fix. And in that vein, I was also able to pack a mini steamer in there so it ended up as a one stop package. The many zippers are sturdy, so you don’t have to worry about anything falling out, or the zipper not lasting a reasonable length of time. Nothing like a zipper failing after only a few uses to put a damper on things.I’m now quite anxious to bring this on a trip with me to experience the actual real life performance. If you’re looking for something compact with good quality, this carry on might be for you. I have seen other carry-on bags that are quite pricy, but yet don’t have the suit carry option or as many handy compartments. I'm very impressed, and think you might be as well if you give this HILOMON luggage a try.

Fabric and zippers good quality. Seems like i was able to pack more clothes than I normally would in a regular duffel bag. Clothes on hangers weren't wrinkled when I took them out. Only used 1 time so far.

ProsWhenever I have to travel with dresses and suits, I always roll them around my folded jeans (so that they look like a jelly-roll) to reduce the amount of potential creases. It's always been effective, but requires a bit of wrangling to keep it neatly rolled while getting it into my luggage. The design of this HILOMON carry-on bag is essentially doing what I did, but making it a lot easier for me.I was able to pack the following into this bag and still have a bit of room to spare: Men's 3 pc suit, Men's dress shirt, tie, 3 dresses, pair of linen slacks, blouse, pair of jeans, workout top and tights, pajama gown, 3x t-shirts, 5x socks, 5x bras, 5x underwear, heavy hoody, pair of women's dress shoes, toiletry bag. Unfortunately, I could not fit the pair of men's dress shoes to go with the suit. That will have to go into his own carry-on.There are so many pockets on this bag, so handy!I like the separate shoe compartment, and it can also act as a separation for wet and dry clothes. For the last day of the vacation, there's always a wet towel or bathing suit I need to put in before heading to the airport.ConsDue to the size of the bag, the garment bag can only handle above the knee length dresses. If I wanted to bring longer dresses / gowns (for example for a cruise), I would have to fold the skirt part of the dress.I'm only 5'2”, so I need a carry-on bag with a handle on the end for easy grabbing from the overhead bin. This bag does not have one, so I guess I'll just have to ask another passenger to help me get it down. Tossing it up into the bin is no problem, it's being able to reach it and pull it out.When full, it's too tall to fit under the seat, it will have to go in the overhead bin.One disappointment for me about this bag is that despite them highlighting that the zipper is an Upgraded YKK zipper, mine has a slightly damaged tooth, and it is unfortunately, right in the corner. If it had been in a straight section it would not have given me so much trouble. I fought with it for almost 10 minutes to get it to zip together. All other corners zipped up pretty easily.Price wise, I have seen similar products online ranging from $30 - $60. Price for this bag at the time of this review is $59.99. I think if the zipper hadn't been damaged, I would be ok paying $60 for this bag.

Well made. Material feels study and durable. Zippers zip smoothly. Love that there are so many differently sized compartments to keep all your things organized. The garment bag like compartment is a great feature cause you can put things in there that you don't want to fold or get wrinkled, and the clothes that you put in there doubles as padding and protection for anything you pack inside the bag. My wife used this duffel for a week away and it was perfect. Would recommend!
