This Brand Does not carry men's Large and XL sizes at all! for their " Mens Black Diamond BD801890BLACKSm W Mercury" Mitten. I found out Directly after calling the company that Makes this Mitten.

These gloves are amazing if you are skiing in weather that is under 30°. Very, very warm and great quality. I highly recommend however, if you are spring skiing, these might not be the best gloves.

It lives up to its promise of being the warmest glove. I tried several gloves that promised to keep your hands warm but they always fell short but not these. Best ones I found. Worth the higher price.

This mitt was rated highly by GearLab, which is why I bought them. I measured my hands and they are smack dab in the middle of size small according to Black Diamond sizing chart. However, the combination of the thick padding of the inner mitt with the elastic at the wrist made the size small fit too tight. If I substituted a thinner liner mitt or glove they were OK.The final solution was to partially rip out the side seams to permanently remove the elastic from the front of the mitt, replace the elastic on the underside of the wrist with a thinner, stretchier, longer piece of elastic, and resew the side seams. Now there's leeway to accommodate the thick lining mitt without the elastic forcing my hand into the top end of the mitt. Photo shows finished result.I haven't skied with the mitts yet, that's next week (late March) in Quebec. I expect they'll function well now that they fit properly. Also, with the double construction, you can mix liners to suit the temperature.Bottom line, if you don't sew, choose one or two sizer larger to get a good fit.

The best for ice cold Minnesota winters!

I wanted these to be the ultimate ski glove for me. I love the very long cuff and the sense of warmth. They run small and tight in my opinion. Many people said that they were ultra warm to the point of creating sweaty hands. I have very cold hands and these were not better than the hestra pair that I am considering. They have surprisingly good dexterity for how fat they are. I wish they had a retaining strap built in.

These are definitely worth the money. Runs a tad small.

Der Innenhandschuh ist mollig warm, oberhalb des Handgelenks mit rundrum Klettstreifen in der Außenhandschuh eingefügt. Mit etwas Kraft läßt er sich daraus lösen, bei Wiederbedarf leicht wieder einfügen indem die innensteckende Hand mit klarem Druck zügig bis an den Fingeranschlag in den Außenhandschuh fährt. Die Klettverbindung schmiegt sich dann automatisch wieder richtig aneinander. Gut ausgedacht! Sollte der Innenhandschuh mal zu steif und dick für eine Tätigkeit sein, bietet sich der dünne, leichte, flexible Überhandschuh auch als Schutz über zB Woll-Fingerhandschuhe an, so ist dieser wind-, Feuchtigkeitsgeschützt, zB beim Autoscheiben kratzen. Diese dünnen 'Überschuhe’ sind klein zusammenfaltbar und finden unterwegs überall Platz.Mir persönlich war das Handgelenksgummi zu straff. Es besteht aus zwei einzeln an der Hangelenkinnen- und Außenkante innerhalb der Handschuhwand fixierten ca 1 cm beitem Gummibändern. Dadurch besteht die Möglichkeit, das Gummi mittig am Handgelenksrücken durch einen kleinen Schnittes innerhalb der Handschuhinnenwand zu durchtrennen. So wirkt der Gummizug nur noch an der Handgelenksinnenseite, außen ergibt sich dadurch mehr Luft. So passt der Handschuh für mich perfekt. Der Schneestaubverschluß- Zug am Unterarm ist haptisch hervorragend gelöst und auch mit angezogenem (steifem) Kompletthandschuh zu bedienen.

while the gloves are extremely warm the leather is a PAIN to deal with as you are REQUIRED to apply a wax to it monthly to avoid water damage and it is NOT machine washable either due to the leather
