I like to use these to work with chemicals or to do quick and dirty things that I don’t want to get my clothes dirty with and up until this point all of the isolation gowns I’ve ever tried are absolutely perfect for that purpose. I noticed a couple things about these gowns that make them not nearly as good as some of the other isolation gowns I’ve tried. Usually all level 2 isolation gowns (or at least the ones I’ve tried) are somewhat fluid resistant, unfortunately that was not the case with these in my experience and fluid seemed to soak right though. The other issue I ran into was that they do not have cuffs on the arms. The cuffs play an important role that would probably make these pretty much useless in any medical environment and also for the uses I use them for. The role the cuffs play is to provide a seal between your gloves and the gown sleeves so that you remain completely covered and protected with no gaps. Without those cuffs to provide that seal I’m afraid I can’t really recommend these.
