08-03-2026This is made of inexpensive materials and it is not balanced enough to use as a base stand on a desk like I had hoped. The threads are coated in paint which made it difficult to assemble. The base did not fully thread on to the post and is now stuck so I cannot take it apart. The aluminum rods feel easy to dent or damage. The top post connected to my projector without an issue and the eyeball joint gives good freedom to adjust the image.Overall it will work if you install it once and leave it there, but I would not choose this again and it is not suitable as a base stand.
