I initially bought it for my son, who played Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde Jr. We aimed for a professor-like appearance, and a tweed jacket seemed ideal! It served its purpose well and was easy to wash after stage makeup, as well as being resilient during backstage handling. It won't last forever, but my son will outgrow it before it shows any wear. My younger son liked it so much that he wanted one too! We got him a lighter tan option, which looks great for church or nice dinners out. It pairs well with dress pants and a tie or can be dressed down with jeans and a button-down shirt. The fit seems close to expected sizes. My 11-year-old ordered a size 12; he's thin and tall with long limbs, and he had little room to grow in but wasn't swimming in it. My 14-year-old, who has a stockier build with shorter limbs, found the size 14 fit well with some extra sleeve length. Made from a lightweight cotton blend, both boys mentioned that it was comfortable for a blazer, and they liked the style.
