08-03-2026The listing for this item states "Able to instantly generate cold air, increase air humidity and quickly reduce the temperature of the surrounding environment to 45-50°F". Nothing could be further from the truth! This is absolutely false advertising. My first clue should have been the 45-50°F claim. That's completely unrealistic even for a mechanical air conditioning machine, let alone one that claims to do it with evaporative cooling. This is a small unit. The fan on it isn't strong enough to create air circulation in the room. You have to be sitting within 2 feet of it to feel any air flow. The supposed "cooling" is from two little water sprayers that you can turn on that spray water into the air next to the fan supply. There is absolutely zero noticeable cooling effect. I left it running in my small 12'x12' office for several hours and it didn't change the temperature in the room at all.

08-03-2026I read all the reviews before buying this item, received this item and this item was very disappointing. It did not blow out any cold air, you couldn’t feel any of the air coming from it, and I needed it to cool only one room and it didn’t do that. Waste of money and I don’t recommend this product for anyone to use. Not sure what the other comments were referring to but it’s most definitely not this product.

08-03-2026This does not blow cold air with cold water and iced cubes in the water tank. I do not see the value of paying this price for a fan. If I can’t put it in a hot room and it actually cool it down, it’s nothing more than a tower fan, but does not cool the room as I thought it would based on other reviews.

08-03-2026I bought this based on the reviews. I did see some of the 1 star reviews but the 5 stars out weighed. I tried this in a 12 X 12 room with concrete block walls. The room is west facing. It gets really hot. This unit is not large enough to cool the room. It works just not large enough for the heat and size of the room. I found the ice melted way to quick to cool the air coming out. It may last longer with an ice pack small enough to fit. But good luck with that unless you make your own.
