08-03-2026Semi-commercial? I don't think so. I go to two different gyms and this bench is nowhere near semi-commercial. I should have done more research before buying because it would be a pain to disassemble and try to return unfortunately I already disassembledthe boxes. Good points. Solid and easy to build. Bad points. Part of the reason for it's stability is that it is to low to the ground. If you want to do elevated leg raises, you have to begin at a hips bent upward position. The height at the lowest point is about six inches lower than an actual commercial decline bench. The padding is not wide enough and I am average size. A large person would drape over the sides badly. The adjustment movement is stiff and when you go to raise or lower the height at the top, the plastic sleeve slides out of place. All the parts say made in China and it's pretty obvious. This is one of my worst purchases. That is on me for not getting better specifications. This bench would be well suited for people under 5' in height and under 100 lbs as long as they leave it in one position.

08-03-2026The plastic c caps on the ends of the pipes are crooked and jammed. The metal is a little thinner than i would expect for its boasted weight capacity. Making the leg supports adjustable would be a huge advantage and make it more comfortable. All said it works well, sturdy enough and easy to assemble.
