This camp light is awesome. Very lightweight, packs up nicely in its own case for easy storage. The lamps are adjustable and bright. Recharges quickly. Because it is lightweight it needs to be either weighted or carefully placed so as not to blow over in high winds.
This light is super versatile, super bright (if you want it to be), and highly recommended. We arrived at our campsite in the forest at 10:00 PM and had to still set up camp. This light saved the day and saved my marriage. We were able to get all of our items from the truck to the tent without having to consistently having to move the light. the stand is a great height and when you do finally get settled in your tent, instead of spot light or bright light, there is a nice warm light mode that is less blinding. This light also acts as a flashlight for that middle of the night trip to the bathroom.
This light works very well, it is bright, positionable, and comes with a sturdy base. The versatility of being able to use it on the stand, or with the hook to hang it or with the magnetic base makes it very convenient.
This thing is bright!! I love how you can turn each individual one around. It is pretty tall. I am 5' 6 and it stands taller than me. It was definitely a great hit for a father's day gift. I will be purchasing more! It's really simple to use too. Has a few different modes and dims. I like that you can take it apart and use it on your car or just to sit outside. You may think it doesn't look like much but you will be surprised!
Nice light, very bright and will work but it is cheaply made. I question how well it will hold up. Then again, the price is very low compared to others.
I bought this little light for camping and it has exceeded my expectations! It’s durable, it has different heights, or you can use it as a handheld flashlight, but I must admit my husband has taken it to use while he is doing all his household projects. I might have to buy another!
Update: I have been using this light for a lot of project work over the past couple of months, and while I really like the versatility of the light (e.g. easy to set-up, position, move, etc.), I am become more disappointed with the light output. I was recently repainting a small bathroom and I removed the bathroom light fixture. I was planning to use this task light until the new light fixture was installed. I was in the process of painting the room and sun went down. The amount of light produced from this light was completely inadequate for painting and I needed to get additional lights. For comparison, I think a single 60w (~800 lumens) equivalent bulb in the fixture was producing more light before I removed it. Bottomline, this product doesn't produce anything close to 3200 lumens. As a side note, I have notice that light fades about 50% over the course of 5-10 minutes of turning it ON. This can be resolved by cycling it on/off quickly. I think this is being done in the controller to achieve longer battery life (i.e. improve those spec's)So, will I continue to use it? Absolutely, but have realistic expectations. It isn't a substitute for adequate lighting for certain tasks.Original: I purchased this light primarily because I needed a task light for projects around house (e.g. interior painting, woodworking projects in garage). In each of these situations, I had ambient light, but I didn't have enough light to be able clearly see issues as I working. I was debating between something like this and one of the 3-headed LED plug-in stand lights. Frankly, those would produce much more light, but I didn't want to deal with the bulk and clunkiness of them as they are difficult to move and take up a lot of space to store.Overall, I am really happy with this purchase. The flexibility of the light is what makes it so handy. The battery is beast, I used it for an entire day (8-10 hours) on full brightness and it still had power in the battery. It completely recharged overnight by the next morning. In terms of functionality, the tripod works well and it is easy to get the 3 light heads pointed however you want to use it. I really appreciated being able to grab it move or adjust it without having to deal with cables as I am progressing through a project. It makes using it as a project light easier and I am more likely to grab it in the future when I am working on something. In addition, it comes with carrying case, it takes less than a minute to setup or break-down when you need to use it.My only neutral comment is that while it is very bright and puts off plenty of light, I debate if 3200 lumens may be fudged a little bit. I don't have a way to test this, but I am not confident that it is continuously producing the same amount of light as a the equivalent of a 2x 100 watt incandescent bulb (3200 lumens). Regardless, I am still happy with the lights performance.Comparing this to some of the lower cost options, with consideration of the bigger battery, higher light output, and ease of use I think this is a great choice.
Bought this as a work light for places where there wasn't a good location to set or hang a light for the right illumination. This was one of the most compact, bright and long lasting I could find and, while I haven't really put it to the full test, have been happy with the first few uses.
