LG 32UP83AK-W 32-inch UltraFine 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS Computer Monitor, 60Hz, 5ms, HDR10, Built-in Speaker, Reader Mode, Flicker Safe, HDMI, USB Type-C, Tilt/Height/Pivot adjustable stand, White
Good colour representation. Nicely laid out osd. Good blaçk and white levels.
This is my primary monitor for an M4 MacBook Pro dual screen setup. I love the single cable power delivery with USB-C. After some calibration, this monitor is a dream to use for professional design work. Colors are brilliant. Contrast is strong. The internal speakers leave a lot to be desired, but I added desk speakers to make up for it. Still a great monitor for the price.
LG as usual is just "Mercedes" of displays ..Good display in all aspects. However , Im not a big fun of gaming.Good functionality , no flickers , no visible delays , good picture quality ,interface connections , sound speakers , flexible stend , everything is just good.thanks
Technically it's IPS, technically it's HDR, it can show 10 bit color. But its seems to be very bad calibrated and viewing angles are terrible almost like on TN. For 32 inch it's impossible to use it as a monitor for work. You just don't see colors at the side at all. However for gaming or movies probably acceptable. Maybe 27 inch is better due to smaller size, but still HDR makes absolutely no sense with such viewing angels. However after some review I found that this is "modern IPS" and the price is comparable to other panels from the same price range. So that why 3 stars. However, It's not clear why to produce so big display if pixels near the edge are invisible if you are looking from the distance of 50cm.I'm going to return and by OLED. It's expensive and too bright on my eyes, but it at least I can see al the pixels without moving my chair:)
Bon produit de qualité conforme à mes attentes.
I am a data developer - not a gamer. If you need a review based on gaming, look elsewhere.I am very impressed with this monitor for my purposes. The image is vivid, sharp, and flicker-free. The sound from the built-in speakers is surprisingly good for both videoconferencing and music streaming. The size and resolution allows me to place multiple windows on one screen. I am able to have my development environment with the requirements documentation right next to it.The monitor can be rotated on the included stand. The stand has a decent range of height adjustment, and it is narrow enough that it fits under the monitor in portrait mode.I found it well worth the price I paid, and I'm likely to buy another to use one in portrait orientation next to the other in landscape.
This screen shows serious static sounds in the background. There are definitely quality issues here.
Bon moniteur. Couleur vives. Base stable. Je recommande.
Nice monitor. Typical LG quality. Very sharp images, hooked right up to my MacMini via USB-C and supports all functions including audio. Easy to assemble stand and monitor. This is going to replace a 32" Samsung TV in my bedroom, since I'm 100% streaming and have no need for a TV's tuner.
had this monitor 10 days ... very nice picture, no damage, all pixels seem to work... NO MANUAL ... PD only works when monitor is on, so forget charging your phone / laptop overnight... forget powering a SBC or other device 24/7.. OSD functionality is the best I've seen / got ... uses a joystick interface rather than the maddening multiple button interface.... glad I bought this one, so far.
Got it for console gaming. WOW the colours. The lighting effects. Next gen gaming is crazy good with a high quality monitor
Nice monitor with a built in USB-C dock (supplying 60W power for a laptop), built-in speakers, and a nice, bright, crisp display with good color representation and HDR. I got this as a replacement for the equivalent LG VA display (32UP550-W), which has the same features but was otherwise awful (washed out colors, poor viewing angle, which is really a problem at the edges of a large display), so I returned it. Totally worth the extra $30. I don't understand why they even make the VA version.
Excellent monitor except the speakers suck. Visually, this monitor is above average. Prior to obtaining this monitor, I thought that the worst speakers I've encountered in the world of Mac computers were the Mac Studio built-in speakers. Until I got this monitor. The speakers in this monitor are beyond awful. For some reason, Mac-OS does not recognize the monitor speakers for volume control, which means to change volume, you must use the joystick underneath the front of the monitor. Horrible sound quality. Mac-OS volume control ignores these speakers - not that it matters, the sound being so poor - I had to reinstall my $20 USB speakers as soon as I heard these speakers. Two star rating because LG decided to such lousy speakers into such a nice monitor - and there is no software that allows you to control monitor settings from the computer keyboard. There should be. Value for the money is fair (not good, not poor) so long as you do not plan on using the speakers. If you are planning on using speakers: go elsewhere.Set up was easy - how hard is it to connect a monitor?
