08-03-2026We bought this to replace a similar suit for our 12yo son. He prefers to wear a suit for special occasions, been wearing the last one for 2yrs and finally out grew it. We hope a growth spurt isn't in his immediate future, as he really likes this one. Fit was true to size. The materials are OK for a kid's suit. Workmanship looked really good. Well worth the money to get all the looks.

08-03-2026Firstly, the good: This really is a good looking suite, fitted reasonably well, looked great on the kid! Looks good for a summer outfit. Fabric is thin, but nice, suitable for summer weather -- think linen suit, not really what I got from their pictures. The jacket will be great with jeans, even. The less ideal: This is by no means a tux (not even a white tux), and it's going to take some serious ironing to keep it in shape. The tie around the neck is a bit big (sized for a muuuuuch larger neck), but the length is very short, so... bull-necked squat kid? Okay, the tie is pretty much useless for most people. Still, as a summer-weight linen suit, I like this!
