The tool is well built and looks like it would be great for removing screens and glass back plates, but the problem I ran into is that the phone area is very shallow, and I couldn't get a good grip on the phone I tested with, an old Galaxy S4. The S4 is not by any means a thick phone, and is less than 1/4" thick, yet it was too thick for the side grips to get a good hold on it.When I put my Iphone 12 pro in it, I similarly couldn't get a good grip on it due to it's thickness. I'm not sure what phone this is intended for but it would have to be thinner than the thinnest phone I own.The 2 suction cups that slot in to hold the opened screen up also do not have any friction to stay in their spot, and will fall out easily. This makes storing it and not loosing pieces a problem.

I don't recommend it, 99.9% of the time you'll break the display, it's not built correctly, and only one suction cup lifts it, thereby bending the display and breaking it

This thing is perfect for replacing my battery of the iphone because I can rest the open screen on the side without needing to fully disconnect the cables.

First week have it used few times already. It’s pretty good for what it does. I’m happy overall. Now I can just replace my iPhone battery as many times as I want. 1 very important thing to use this tool remember to use rubbing alcohols to break the seals slowly so u don’t break the screens this tool is very good but if u force it u damage the screen.

Abrí un iPhone 11 Pro Max y realmente fue impresionante, sólo retiré los dos tornillos de la pantalla y pude despegarlo en menos de 5 segundos, no fue necesario calentar nada.No sé si con otros dispositivos sea más difícil pero mi experiencia fue agradable. Además, las ventosas que sostienen la pantalla fueron muy útiles.Estoy muy feliz con mi compra, el material es bueno y siento que podré usarlo muchas veces. Quizá podría mejorar el empaque, vino en bolsa pero sería mejor si trajera una caja y un manual. Tuve que intuir donde iba todo y como funcionaba, no es algo del otro mundo pero quizá otras personas por eso lo han calificado mal, quizá hacen algo mal.

Its a little tricky to set up but its super simple once you look at it . Works great but still have to use a heat gun of some kind, may take a few attempts to pop open a device and sometimes the suction holds better than the clamp that holds the phone in place . Just work with it and it is very convenient! Definitely worth the price and a great addition to a work desk!
