As someone who wears shorts more than 80% of the time, even during our cold southern California winters (yes, being sarcastic), I enjoy the opportunity to try out new shorts. So I gave the Haimont shorts a try and here are my impressions. First, the size chart is accurate. Being a bit overweight with a 36-inch size waist, I requested a Large size per the chart. I'm glad to report the shorts fit perfectly. The shorts do have an elastic band and includes draw strings for a tighter fit. Fortunately the shorts fit just right without needing to tie them, but they do not feel tight on me either, they feel just right. The shorts also extend to just above my knees, which is how I like them. I also love the side cargo type pockets below the main pockets. I do not carrying my wallet or phone in the main pockets (as they feel and look weird) because the main pockets are not very bit. But the cargo pockets are perfect, and I can place my phone in one cargo pocket, and wallet in the other one. The main pockets have a zipper to secure any item you want to secure, and it provides peace of mind knowing it is secure without constantly checking if its in your pocket. The shorts are also very light weight, partly because there is no inner lining. I did not test its quick drying ability as I did not get them wet when using, but based on the short's light weight material, I am confident they are quick drying. Now for the negative part, yes, sadly it was not all great. The shorts do like to talk so to speak. They are made of nylon so when the material rubs together when you're walking, you can hear them, and anyone who knows nylon knows what sound that is. It is not that big of a deal, but at the same time I was aware of it while walking. Absent this one issue, I would have given these shorts 5 stars.

These are great shorts for the price and they actually look good. I use them mostly for sports or hiking. Really any physical activity since they are moisture wicking and light weight. That being said the fit was a little small and the shorts come down well above the knee. I will be getting some more as my wife likes the look and that’s what counts right?

While I thought it a little odd to get excited about a pair of shorts, these things are amazing!I tried these on once they arrived and was really pleased with how super lightweight and comfortable they were. They fit perfectly and when stretching and bending it felt pretty close to wearing nothing at all. I took the dogs for a hike in the woods and loved how the pockets would keep my phone and keys inside without feeling like I could lose them as with some other shorts I own. It was misting a bit that day but were completely dry by the time I arrived home after just a short drive. My wife noticed them immediately upon returning home and complimented on how great they looked on me. Might have to pick up another pair in a different color.

These are some really comfortable shorts for being a bigger guy. I need something that is really comfortable and he’s definitely provide that this drawstring is a nice touch because I got oversized pair just to make sure they were not tighten anyway they are a little bit shorter than I like, but overall, I absolutely love them. They have nice size pockets. The material will drive super fast from the water. Might have to get another pair this time in a different color definitely will recommend and very fairly priced.

Love these shorts! They are kind of the same material as swim trunks. Very comfortable and lots of pocket

Comfortable drawstring waist. Good fit. Quick drying. The pockets are decently sized, but if you have big hands, they're a little hard to get into - the zipper opening is a little small. They fit my larger sized cell phone. The ripstop material should hold up well.
