Wool blend top coat, quilted body lining, laydown lapels, non-functional button cuffs, two lower welt pockets and one interior welt zipper pocket.
Not good, felt like a knock off of the dockers Peacoat I was trying to replace (12 years old!)
This jacket is hardly wool, but that means you can machine wash and dry it, which is definitely convenient. The fabric is a little on the scratchy side despite the low wool content. The scarf is pure polyester and doesn't feel good on the skin, but it's a random gimme so that's not a big issue. It's fine as a fashion accessory, but I wouldn't try to use it on my neck or wrap it inside the lapels unless I was desperate.Fit is fairly accurate if you're assuming you are already wearing a full suit underneath. I can button up both my cats and myself inside with a little effort. The stitching showed no issues and the quilted lining is good. Nothing got out of alignment in the wash. I appreciate the main buttons having interior buttons to retain the thread. The number and size of pockets is about average for a coat like this.Overall, it's a good looking relaxed fit jacket that I think is only slightly behind my Kors winter coat that retailed at almost 4 times the price 10 years ago. Shell and filling content is the only real compromise here, as quality seems good after a few wears. Unfortunately, winter is coming to an end here so I've only had a couple opportunities to wear it and likely won't again for at least 6 months.
Great coat. Perfect length. Material is beautiful. Comes with a removable scarf too. Very warm and comfortable. Was a perfect fit!
First let me say that I absolutely love this coat. The weight is perfect, the thickness is on-point, the feel is even that of wool. The stitching is clean, seams are even, everything about the coat is perfect. My only complaint, and one that I cannot deduct stars from is the material. I swore when I ordered that it shown as 100% wool but when I checked the tag, it is a blend, mostly polyester.
This wool blend topcoat is great for staying warm during those brutal Chicago winters. The charcoal color is sharp and goes with everything, and I really appreciate the included scarf – it's a nice touch. It's a bit pricey, but the quality feels worth it so far. I wear it almost daily commuting and running errands around the city.
I ordered this wool coat as our winter season was starting to wane. I liked the look (Camel, with matching scarf!) and as I am a large guy, I ordered it in XX-Large.First, it fit well and had plenty of play in the arms. Usually, for big guys, the test of fit comes either across the stomach (will it BUTTON??) or in the underarms if you raise your hands. Both worked well and looked good while doing it.The coat seems to be well made, tightly stitched and the buttons are well secured. The pockets are deep and spacious and there is a zippered pocket inside the coat (I guess for wallets when in pickpocket-possible-neighborhoods (is that a word?)The scarf is attractive and attached (buttoned) and appreciated. The only negative I could find is that as it is advertised as a wool blend, wool only makes up 18% of the fabric, the rest being polyester (77%), Acrylic (2%) and Other Stuff (3%). If you are looking for wool specifically (maybe due to an allergy to other fabrics, please keep in mind. That isn't me. I don't care really...I just really like the coat.So all in all, a really nice jacket. Well made, well thought out in design and execution, I recommend this highly.
This coat surprised me in a good way. It has a clean, polished look without being too formal, and it feels comfortable from the first wear. The fit was just right, even with a sweater underneath, and the quilted lining adds extra warmth without making it bulky. The material feels thick and durable. It’s also a big plus that it’s machine washable—makes it way easier to take care of. The attached scarf is a nice extra, though I ended up removing it to style my own way.The coat has plenty of pocket space, the buttons feel solid, and overall, it just feels like a well-made jacket for cooler weather. A solid choice for everyday wear or a night out when it's chilly.
Super nice attractive coat that is well made and so handsome. It fits true to size.
