08-03-2026I am travelling internationally soon, so I needed a pair of pants that would pack small and tight, not make swishing noises when I walked, be water repellent if possible, but also hand-wash easily in a sink when travelling overseas, and get mud or odors on them. I LOVE the elastic ankles for keeping out both bugs and wind. These fit the bill. I ordered my typical jeans size, and they fit perfectly. They are breathable between the legs and waist, which is very comfortable. The pocket functionality is perfect - holding my cell phone deep and safe, but easily accessible. The two side pockets are not zippers, but the zippers on the other pockets ensure nothing falls out. Like a lot of lightweight pants with zipper pockets, sometimes, I had to use a second hand to zip up the item, like if it were a bulkier earpod case, but that was barely noticeable. There are also belt loops that would fit a typical hiking belt, like a nylon webbing belt.

08-03-2026I used these pants today for mowing/weed trimming. They were amazing and comfortable. I should have gotten 34 instead of 36, I am 5’11.5 tall and weigh 198 lbs. I had to get a belt after an hour or two in the heat. South Carolina is hot/humid. I thought they were comfortable, breathed, and dry fit! For the money I am ordering another set but 34’s . They are so comfortable it’s like you aren’t even wearing pants! These may be my go to pants for spring summer and early fall!!
