The dividers don’t fit the toolbox
Whatever small items you need to organize this organizer will probably do the job. It's very configurable with the compartment dividers and they fit very securely. The latches and the lids work well and don't feel like they will break easily. The handle is nice and makes this easy to transport. The overall capacity is a decent size, I plan to sort a bunch of nuts and bolts for hobby projects.
Loose screws come in all shapes, sizes and ages. Fortunately, most of the ones I encounter can be stored inside various containers, including plastic boxes. Which is why this compartmented one was ordered. It arrived in two days which was exactly as expected, It showed no signs of damage. It appears to be just as described: 12-1/2" wide, 10-1/4" front-to-back and 3-1/8" high. There's room for as many as 32 compartments depending on how the 19 included, and rather robust, dividers are utilized. The latches work positively and smoothly. And, the translucent material used to form the box has sections which are clear enough to easily allow the contents to be viewed without having to opening the covers. The material looks to be thick enough to support the weight of the contents considering that is a requirement for whatever is kept in the lower section. I found this box easy to setup and use.
This double-sided organizer with up to 32 flexible pockets surprised me with its lid. The lid is shaped in a way, that all the dividers sink into it, leaving no gaps for even the smallest stored items to fall out of place anymore! All the dividers fit perfectly, and slide easily into their well defined slots. The build quality is impressive, and thought through - from the shape of the compartments to the lid that grabs around the box. My favorite part is the double side storage - just one wish here: I wish the two sides were different colors - maybe one side with red dividers, one with green. Very impressed with the functionality.
I have many organizers to compare, and this one is decent—not top-tier quality, but I’ve had a lot worse. It’s well-divided: one side has removable dividers, while the other has about one third built-in. The latches work fine. I docked it a star for two reasons. First, for its size, it’s not the best value, though not bad. I have seen similar cheaper. Second, the hinge design is weak—a thin plastic bar, about the size of pencil lead, clips into the lid. A good drop when full or banging it against something in a shop could easily break the hinges, which is a common issue with organizers with plastic hinges. This design makes them even easier to break. If you’re careful, this shouldn’t be an issue. Overall, it’s a decent organizer.
I already owned a tool organizer VERY similar to this, but it's full, so I picked this one as a supplement. There are some small differences that I thought you should be aware of.1) It's just a little cheaper feeling than the similar organizer I bought from Amazon less than a month ago, which was about the same low price.2) The plastic feels just a tiny bit thinner.3) The dividers are made a little differently. It's not a significant change, so nothing to worry about.4) And see my picture--this one has a a compartment near the bottom that is made differently. It has more room in that divider, but it's less useful because it's awkwardly shaped. See the side-by-side picture. My old toolbox is on the left, and this new one is on the right. My video shows how the dividers fit into the box to form the compartments.I slightly prefer my old tool box, but this one will work for what I need. It is great for storing screws and other little items.
This double side organizer will come in handy for most of my bolts and nuts, it's only about 1 and 5/16 of an inch on both sides of the depth of the storage space, that is pretty small. I tried some of my tools, but way too big for this, so I decided to just use it for screws, bolts and even some fishing tackle stuff, mostly for small things like that, and is easy to keep separate with the dividers that just snaps into place and then close it up with the see through lid, than snap the secure latches in place and having a handle on the organizer makes it easy to transport. Overall, seems good quality and durable for the price.
This polymax double-sided organizer comes in very handy for myself. It's supplied with a bunch of dividers so you can customize the size of the compartment depending on what you're storing in the box. What I like to do is divide my storage boxes by task. So I'll have one box for let's say electrical items and another box for specialty pliers. In any event I think you get the idea have one box dedicated to a specific discipline this way when you have a task under let's say electrical You can just grab the electrical box and go knowing that everything you need is inside there. The plastic the box is made out of is polypropylene. Polypropylene is typically rather durable and flexible., despite being lightweight and rather thin.In my opinion all of these organizer type plastic boxes have gotten extremely expensive over the last 4 years and that might have something to do with the skyrocketing cost of petroleum as our plastics are made from petroleum.Hopefully with new leadership in the White House the price of petroleum will continue to decrease and we can look forward to some increased purchasing power.
