A nice improvement from my rtx 4070, runs really cool, fans only needs to work when i games due to great passive cooling
This entire generation of RTX cards are too expensive so nothing out there is worth gets a 5-Star rating out of sheer principle. That being said, this card provides a modest improvement in performance compared to my RTX 3080 at a similar price point (even though it is, technically, a tier lower across generations). The value really comes from leveraging DLSS and Frame Gen features, which vary in quality and support from title to title. Some people are allergic to the proposition machine learning-powered performance vs traditional, full-resolution rasterized graphics, but if you are someone that just read this sentence and has idea what any of it meant then yo are the perfect candidate for this card! It will play everything that comes out for the next few years at high quality without issue.
I ended up purchasing a 4k ultra wide monitor recently and use it with a 2 monitor setup. Both running 240 hz at all times. When I made the switch I realized my old card ( RTX4070 )couldn’t handle what was basically 3 monitors running 4k 240 hz and my frames dropped significantly. ( -60 fps ) after switching to the 5070 ti I have gained a significant amount of frames. Everything looks better as I can have much higher quality settings in my games. And even games that don’t take advantage of the AI features with the new DLSS - for example Helldivers 2 runs way better at around 120-160 fps depending on the area you are in. The Nvidia software makes it super easy to mess with fan settings if you are into that and has their own way to overclock it automatically based on your computers needs. All graphics cards are expensive right now but this one I would say is worth the money. My brother ended up buying the 5090 and while his frame rates are obviously better it’s not by a crazy amount maybe 30-50 frames difference depending on the game and quality settings. For a fraction of the price of a 5090 you get nearly the performance and that’s a win. Also the thing is huge and heavy. It feels like you are holding something powerful when you are installing it, like putting an aftermarket exhaust on your car.
Absolutely awesome card for the price. Excellent cooling and thermal range even at high load and super silent as well. 5070ti means 16GB VRAM , future proofed and can do all settings maxed out at 1440p acords multiple games annd frame rate capped at 144 to match the monitor. Pretty sure 4K should be fine as well . Only con is the fan RGB only turns on when the fans turn on and no way to control this in the GCC app . It’s hardware level. Initially I hated it however now I like the idea of GPU Fan LEDS coming to life when you are actually gaming otherwise it turns off so no distractions while doing productive work . Overall great card at a good value - if you get at MSRP.
Incredible quality build. The price of this graphic card is 300 or 400 USD lower than 5080 and it’s almost the same performance with equal memory GBs. This model is huge, so make sure that you have good space in your case. It is silent, pretty beauty and its cooling is really well designed. I have the “silent mode” on (which turns off the fans when the usage is not increasing the temperature that much) and it actually performs perfectly. I have used other brands (e.g. ASUS TUF and MSI Gaming Trio) for prior RTX gpus and I can tell you it’s completely reaching the same level or even higher.
Good stuff for gaming PC
Nice
Runs cool, sips on power, has plenty of VRAM, demolishes games at 1440p max...Path tracing? Psh, it's nothing to this GPU. I've tried it in a couple of games, Cyberpunk 2077 and F1 25. The performance is incredible, it runs cool, uses way less power than a 3070 Ti 8GB and not much more than my 6700XT 12GB.Look, I like AMD, I have an Asus B550-F Gaming Wi-Fi II / 5900x fully tweaked and tuned, 180a EDC limit, 5.075ghz peak boost, per core Curve Optimizer Tune / 2x16GB DDR4 3600 C16 dual rank RAM with tweaked timings/sub-timings, Gear Down Mode off, etc. etc.) / 2TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus, 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus, 3x SSD's, 3x HDD's (one is a 3TB WD Blue for storage, the other two are older 1TB HDD's in RAID 0 that can read at 380+ MB/s). I've got tons of peripherals... but I'm getting off point.I have a 6700XT 12GB and a 3070 Ti 8GB. The 3070 Ti 8GB came second for free. It blew me away what I had been missing. AMD is TERRIBLE at handling ray tracing and upscaling with FSR. Nvidia DLSS 2 (on the 3070 Ti) looked AMAZING. RT barely even effected the fps whereas RT dropped fps on the 6700XT by 50%+.So I decided to go team green. I chose this over the 9070XT because it blows it out of the water with DLSS and RT performance. The card runs cool at stock settings, it's quiet, it's been 100% stable, the size is PERFECT for my case, it's smaller than my 6700XT 12GB and my 3070 Ti 8GB.There's nothing I've thrown at it that challenges it, yet. I play at 2560x1440 (my monitor's native resolution @ 27", 144hz, HDR) at max/ultra settings.I may just be a team green guy for awhile, now, until AMD sorts their GPU issues out. Seriously, FSR looks awful. AMD's RT cores are leaps and bounds behind Nvidia's, and they won't add extra RT cores to make up for the lack of power, so yeah..Amazing card.
