This phone stand is seriously the best! It's made of metal, looks sleek, and lets you prop up your phone in all kinds of angles. It works with both iPhones and Androids (just make sure you have a MagSafe cover). The magnet is super strong, but it’s light as a feather. It folds and unfolds like a breeze, and honestly, it looks pretty cool—kind of like origami! Plus, it comes in a really nice package.I totally recommend it!

I do like this phone stand. Its a solid construction out of heavy aluminum with solid steel hinges that stay put right where you place them. The design folds flat for easy storage and the hole in the middle, having different diameters for each layer when folded, allows for one hand unfolding to set it up.The magnet is fairly strong, and you can see in the provided photo with the 'green magnetic viewing film' that the magnetic field not only covers the full 360 degrees around the the ring, but it also has two extra magnetic bars below that for added magnetic holding strength. This stand should be able to hold even the heaviest phone.While this product is sold specifically for the iPhone line of products some people with other Mag Safe phones or cases might also be able to use this product. To be usable you device must be able to lay flat against the magnetic ring. The critical dimension for this is whether the lenses on their device have sufficient room for the rounded square corner on this stand. If your lenses on your device are arranged across the top of the phone like the iPhone, then this stand should work. When measuring from the edge of the magnetic ring on your device, on a 45 deg angle, if your lenses are 1/2 inch or more away from the ring on your device/case then this should work. As an example of what will not work is the Galaxy S24-25 where the lenses would be too low and in the way and the phone could not stand straight up for viewing.Another possibility is if your device is not a Mag Safe design, this product supplies a metal ring with a sticky peel off backing that can be applied to the back of your device, or other object, which will then be able to be mounted onto this stand. Very nice.

I got this for my hubby to hold his phone in place in his vehicle. His infotainment screen went out but the computer still works. Meaning that he can plug his phone in and still have the phone/speakers/map accessibility in his vehicle! However... I got worried about him being distracted everytime his phone would fall over and he would have to prop it back up. Enter this handy little gadget!! It folds down nice & compact when not in use, it has a strong magnet to hold the phone in place and it fits perfectly in the cubby in front of the infotainment screen!!

I struggled a little to determine how to score this product. I decided on a 4 - but that's contingent on what your actual NEED is.CONs: it is very lightweight and has nothing to provide traction. therefore, you simply will not be able to use your phone on the stand without picking it up, it'll just scoot across the desk/table. at the time of this review, the cost is $20, which is a little more than I'd think this product is worth (of course that's subjective).PROs: the magnet is strong and I have full confidence of it supporting my phone. my initial concern was that the stand would be "top heavy" but I didn't get that feel at all (see above, it slides more than topples). The material is a very durable material, this stand should be very long lasting. And the top aspect of this product is its compactness. I've owned and purchased (as gifts) countless phone stands. This is BY FAR the most compact phone stand I've ever seen. Due to its durability and compact nature, this stand is definitely going in my "mobile office" kit.So if you're wanting a stand that will hold your phone while you use it, this is not the product for you, possibly 2 stars.If you're wanting something that will just support your phone as you watch video, etc. then it's a good product, 4 starsIf you're in need of a sturdy compact stand for travel and basic support, this is a 5 start product.Hence the overall 4 star.If you need something that will resist movement while you use the phone you'll need a much heavier one that has a wider base and will have much less compactability.
