I bought this computer for my daughter to complete her homework. It does everything you need. Great for the price.
Bought for the eldest. Works like a charm, minimal footprint, no complaints at all from his Highness.
Very happy with this mini PC. The price is amazing for what you get. I don't need a gaming machine, just a capable home PC that didn't break the bank. I use mostly Apple devices at home but Windows PC at work, and there are some things I still like doing at home on a Win PC. This fits the bill beautifully. It arrived quickly, appears to be well made, and started up without a problem when I connected it to my TV as a monitor and a usb keyboard with trackpad. Minimal configuration required to get going - I had taken the precaution of creating a Microsoft account first, which I suspect is a smoother process than not having one. Performance is fine for what I need - Office apps, web browsing, YouTube and Spotify. I'll be doing some programming with it and can't see that it'll be any problem. Highly recommended.
Excellent wavue if you need a well configured office machine with 3 screen capability out of the box. 16Gb of DDR 4 REM in soldered and not upgradable.
The DreamQuest Mini PC with Windows 11 Pro preloaded has been a solid workhorse for our office deployment. We’ve purchased over 200 units to equip remote workstations and light-duty kiosks, and the value is hard to beat—especially since a genuine Windows license is included at this price point.Performance is snappy for everyday business tasks: web apps, Office suite, Zoom calls, and basic accounting software run without hiccups. The compact size fits neatly under desks or behind monitors, and the included VESA mount is a nice touch. Boot times are quick, and Windows updates apply smoothly.Reliability is mostly good, though not perfect. We’ve seen a 3-5% failure rate out of the box or within the first 30 days—mostly dead RAM slots or DOA power adapters. DreamQuest support replaces them promptly under warranty, no questions asked, which keeps downtime minimal. At this price, the minor defect rate is acceptable; we simply keep a few spares on hand. If you need an affordable, licensed Windows mini PC for volume rollouts, this is one of the best budget options available. Just factor in a small buffer for QA.
Purchased this computer to act as my network server. Comments in other reviews indicate that it runs hot. To address this, I also purchase a powered USB hub and a small USB fan. The powered hub provides power to all the external devices so that I only have the data cable from the hub and the hdmi cable for the monitor plugged into the computer. This limits the power being drawn from the computer. The small fan sits next to the computer to blow air into the side vent and bottom vent of the computer. Since it is running 24/7, this setup keeps the system very cool. The system did come with Windows 11 pro preloaded. Within windows settings, I updated the power settings while the system is plugged in so it stays running.Has been working very well for the last three days.
Let me tell you why the DreamQuest Mini PC has become my favorite gadget. This small computer has an Intel 12th Gen N95 processor and 16GB of RAM, which means it handles my daily activities, like watching Netflix and doing schoolwork, really well. What I love the most is how it keeps my home network safe. It has two LAN ports that let me use it as a firewall, adding extra security to my internet connection. It can get a little warm, like a summer day, but that's easy to fix with some airflow. The mini PC's design is also a big plus. It's small and neat, so it doesn't take up much space on my desk. Setting it up is super easy, too. Even my grandma, who doesn’t quite get what the "cloud" is, finds it simple to manage.Overall, the DreamQuest Mini PC fits right into my life perfectly. It’s powerful yet compact, helping me stay organized without needing a big, bulky computer. It's just what I need to keep everything running smoothly.
How about this for my wife and it worked good for a couple of days. And she started having problems with it cutting on and off and rebooting. We reached out to the company and instead of sending a return box so we can send it back they want us to foot the return bill and then they claim they will replace it but who knows? We are going to try another brand this one is cheaply built.
The DreamQuest Mini PCs perform well for the price, but one of the four we bought is not working properly [VERY SLOW], and we only opened it 30 days past the return window. My recommendation: test them immediately upon receipt to catch any defects early.
Was skeptical at first but glad I stuck with my purchase. This PC is great for home and office use. Very quiet and easy to install. Not recommended for heavy gaming with high graphic usage, but most web based games should run fine. For the price and ability to connect 3x 4K monitors at 60Hz is amazing value.
I've had this for 6 months and really wanted to like it for my wide screen tv but the thing crashes a lot for no apparent reason, all drivers have been updated and windows is allowed to update with no restrictions so unless these updates don't like the hardware it's updating then I'm stumped on this one and I'm a computer tech savvy guy since 1991....I'd say better pass the frustrations and find something else.....Value for money:the price was goodGraphics quality:requires lots of updatesSpeed:OK...Looks:nice looking small boxUPDATE: 7/8/2025I have been corrisponding through email with the company and they've been very helpful...they offered to send a new one but then I found the problem later through looking at windows updates history and found it wouldn't update anymore since 6/7/2025...also windows gave an alert on the graphics card update that it couldn't verify it "do you want to proceed" I continued the update but that's where the problem lies I believe...update the drivers through the graphics card manufacturer and don't let windows 11 use their drivers....at the moment I have not rolled back anything since we just talked about it with their support people ....I will report on it when it's been tested in about 2-3 wks if it solves the blue screen crash then I'd be glad to give it 5 stars...Update: they didn't get back with me on how they would solve it looks like I'm on my own...removing 2 starsUpdate: they sent a new one and it's working like it's supposed to now...very pleased
Bought this computer for my husband’s birthday gift. He is very happy with the quality, the speed and the ease of setup.
