08-03-2026I bought this to substitute for the broken AC in my pickup truck this summer because rolling the windows down is not enough. It’s not a true AC, therefore it’s not going to make the environment in the vehicle truly cold, but it’s definitely a cooling breeze, a nice little breath of fresh air. It basically turns ice cold water into two little streams of mist and the fan blows that mist at you. I now use it as a summertime humidifier next to my bed at night as well. The air coming from it feels distinctly cool, especially if the fan is close to you. I like it. If you expect something like AC, you will be disappointed. This is just a nice step up from a regular fan. In my opinion it’s worth the money. Make sure you bring extra ice with you in a cooler because it will evaporate the water and need more.

08-03-2026The first day of use: We followed the directions exactly, they are very simple, it looked like a wonderful product. I sent this email on July 7th to the email listed in the manual describing the issues. "Hello,We just opened this and started using it. The unit on High with one of the cool jets, works fine.With the power on, both cooling jets light up and the fan immediately turns off.If only one cooling jet is on, it will continue to run on High,If it’s running on High, and we press the icon for cooling jets, to turn the other cooling jet on, both lights are lit, and the fan cuts off immediately.On Medium, and Slow, it will run with both cooling jets and lights on.When turning the fan on High, both cooling jet lights come on, and the fan shuts off immediately.So our question is: Can we have both cooling jets turned on, with the fan on high? We cannot seem to get it to work that way.We did not overfill it.Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated" !The response I got on July 8th was, "We are committed to providing the best products and friendliest customer service.I apologize for the inconvenience of not having access to the manual. I have added images of the manual below. I hope that this assists you with the use of your product." I emailed them back, also on July 8th. "Hi, thanks very much for responding. It did come with the manual, I never mentioned that it didn’t, and we have followed the instructions exactly. My problem is not the manual, it’s a specific issue, and I really tried to be detailed. Can you please look at my email that I had sent again, and maybe you could tell me what to do? I hate to return this one and get another and then have the same problem. Then I would have to return two of them and I sure don’t want to do that"! As of this date, July 11th, I have not heard a word back from them. I took it straight to the UPS store and returned it. I cannot recommend this product.

08-03-2026This portable fan works pretty good, but I'm just kind of disappointed that you can't use it without the charging cord. If you want to use it you will have to keep the cord in for it to work.

08-03-2026It works! This is a perfect portable cooling item. I use this at my desk, and wow it keeps me cooled down. My office space is large with a conference table in the room, and my whole office space stays cool down. I also have a window the sun shines through all day making my desk area hot on those warm days.You can add Ice and water, to get a true air conditioned effect, mister works good. I really love the size for my office, the lights are fun and vibrant. It is not to loud. It is portable and it works great. I just turn it on first thing, and within minutes my office is comfortable and cool down.Now I can keep my office area cool, and not have a loud air conditioner at my desk area. Highly recommend. Would be great by your bedside as well. The quality is great, and so far no water leaks or problems.

08-03-2026I have used similar products over the years and they all had the same issues - a holding tank that was way too small and fans that were underpowered. That is not a problem with the Arctic Air Ice Jet X3. The reservoir hold more than enough ice and water to last through the night. Waking up after a good 8 hours of sleep and the unit is still putting out its cooling mist.The fan puts out a nice breeze from several feet away without a lot of noise. The controls are intuitive and easy to understand. The speed, amount of mist and the light are easy to reach and control. I especially like that when you turn off the night light function that one more press of the button turns off the lights on the controls which is nice since I like to sleep in a dark environment.It is well built with a sturdy base so I am not worried about it tipping over during the night.
