08-03-2026Price wise, it's about spot on for what it is. You get a storage bag, two rods and reels, two spools of line and an assortment of bait and hooks. You and a buddy could go out fishing and have a good time, but I don't know how long it'll last. The fishing line doesn't have a # test on it, so I don't know how strong it is, but you get 100m on each spool, plenty to fill the reels. It does tangle pretty easy though. The reels are made of metal, but every chrome part is plastic, giving it a cheap feel. They work just fine though. The rod itself is decent and pretty lightweight, but it has small grips and the reel seat and collars are also plastic. The guides were slightly off center, but shouldn't interfere with the functionality. The rods don't lock into place when collapsed, so you have to use the included plastic sleeves to keep it collapsed. It's a cheap, basic fishing kit, but quality is lacking and the price reflects that. 3/5 for quality, 4/5 for value.

08-03-2026The expandable rods and perfect size reels are lightweight and quite portable load them on my ATV and a couple of small coolers with Diet Mt Dew in one and the other in case I catch some to eat and relax. AHHHH! I set up one rod is set up for bass, and the other for panfish, crappie, blue gill, stump knockers, redbreasts, etc., put that under one leg and just relax, the 35 lures let me adapt by testing different baits! Caught a personal-best 8lb bass, rekindled my youth, and made fishing buddies. Light, durable feel, and best investment ever!I absolutely love my expandable rods and perfectly sized reels; they're incredibly lightweight and portable, making them perfect for my ATV trips. I can easily pack them up along with two small coolers—one filled with refreshing Diet Mountain Dew and the other ready for any fish I might catch. Just the thought of it already makes me feel relaxed!I set one rod up for bass fishing and the other for panfish like crappie, bluegill, stump knockers, and redbreasts. I even prop one rod under my leg while I unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere. 08-03-2026Bought this Combo set for my son‘s 18th birthday. Showed up on time. Everything was in the box that was supposed to be there. I’d say it’s a pretty decent rod in real set x2. Fishing poles were sturdy and reliable no jamming or tangling with the real & line. All in all where is the purchase would buy again.
