I have an upstairs bedroom that the house AC just doesn't reach. If you are looking for something to cool your whole room off, this is NOT it! I am surprised how cold the air becomes when turned on. But, I found out that I have to lay directly in front of it to cool down. I am confused because when I turn it on, the lowest setting runs and cools fine. However, when I attempt to heighten speeds, the fan slows and there is no mist. I have to manually shut it off and restart it to get the lowest setting back. I gave it 3 stars because I do like that it does put off cold air, but would never be strong enough to do the entire room. I do not know the intent of this unit. I have never tried one before. I wish I had something to compare it to. I think I will return it due to the fan speed not working correctly. I just don't know. Confused.

Update:I received a replacement, hoping that the first one was just not well crafted. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I knew better than to move it in between rooms this time, so I found a place in my office, and it stayed there. The water sptizer part went out first. However, the fan was still working, so I still kept using it. Something was better than nothing, considering it is 90 degrees in my office and my house lacks any sort of AC.Then it started randomly shutting off. The usb-c port is loose again in this one and it just started not connecting to power. But hey - at least it didn't fall out completely. However, that is not all that helpful because after a few days of trying to move the cord so it would turn on, it has now completely broken.This second model lasted 14 days. I'm not sure I buy all the positive reviews are actually real. Or they weren't updated after spending actual time with this thing. Seriously, do not buy it. It is too expensive for the piece of junk you receive.Original Review:It lasted eleven days. It was not powerful enough to cool a room, but if you put it on a desk right by you it would work. It uses misting, so you have to be careful not to put it next to electronics, which isn't great if you need it while working. If this was all I would probably have ranked it three stars, kept using it, but not bought another one.However, on day 11 it broke. It just stopped working. I had been moving it between my office and my bedroom because we hit 90 degrees and I don't have AC. So, I decided to troubleshoot. I moved it to the cord in my bedroom and the connector where the usb-c cord goes in just fell out. So now it is a very expensive peice of garbage.

Love, love, love this small AC unit. It is very handy, excellent size making it a go to product for traveling, camping, picnicking, or any outdoor activities where you could use cool air. Just plug it into a USB plug, add water to the tank and enjoy the frosty cold air coming out. With 3 fan settings, 3 timed settings, and 2 water misting settings, this little unit really does have it all. The tank area lights up and can be set to random color lights, stationary color light, or you can turn the light off totally. Personally, I love the mid fan level with the light mist for indoors, and full fan and fill mist for outdoors. This AC is super easy to operate right out of the box, just plug it in and add the water to the tank and you can have cool air instantly. And it is a great value, as other devices I have purchased in the past in this type of AC water cooler have not made it past 10 to 12 hours of run time, I have already put about 25 hours run time on this unit in the past week, so I would say this unit is durable as well as a good buy.

The controls are simple and the remote control makes it even more comfortable. It works best in closed rooms, and in very hot weather, the water reservoir requires filling up often. In general, an economical and functional option for those seeking freshness and portability without complications.

As a normal fan, it's ok. It has three settings for fan speed. The minimum has ok air flow. The medium has decent air flow. The high is a bit too noisy for my tastes to use. The liquid cooling function is more hassle than it is worth. Not only does it condense in front of the unit, if it is blowing on you, you will condense too! So this cooler makes you wet!All of that honestly is to be expected. The REASON I give this thing two stars, is because there's some unknown issue with this thing. I used it solely as a fan for a while, but the moment I filled the water chamber to the marked levels, it suddenly had a sporadic issue. Turning it on, the light would function fine. The unit would receive signal from the remote control fine. But the fan would not spin up consistently. It would start for a few seconds, and then stop. Cycling through On/Off, it would actually spin up and STAY spinning maybe every 1 try per 14 tries. I don't know about you, but that's entirely unacceptable for the price point. For something as simple as this, I'm positive there are better uses for your money.I've had some luck getting the fan to function properly if I give the fan blades some assistance during the spin-up, but, when you're trying to use it with the cooling water function, you can't easily maneuver the unit without spilling water because water pools at the bottom of the unit, too.2/5 stars, save your money for something simpler, or something more expensive. This thing is junk.
