08-03-2026The design of these snagging trebble hooks are similar to the most common design, where the weight is in the middle of the hook. The pointy end of the hooks are very sharp as well as are the barbs. The hooks have a nice weight and cast well. I do, however, agree with many of the other reviews which states that the hooks will rust when used in saltwater, so rinsing them with freshwater is highly recommended after use.The hooks come in a nice plastic case for storage, which is a plus.So far, I have not had any issues with these hooks and look forward to catching many more fish.

08-03-2026Snagging Hooks Snagging Weighted Treble Hooks,5pcs/Pack Treble Fishing Hooks, (5/0 - 5pcs)We have ponds on our ranch and invariably things blow in to the water and drift away. I plan to set up a fishing pole with some heavy line, like maybe 50 lb test, and use these hooks for retrieving things from the water. They are quite heavy and should cast a long distance. I ordered the 5/O size and they are over an inch from one treble to the other, on one side, so pretty big. I might also try using one of these with the jugs that we put in for our large channel catfish in the spring. These are definitely heavy duty and solidly made hooks, with lead sinkers molded into them. They may have some kind of coating to protect them from saltwater, but I would plan to rinse them after use. They came in a pretty decent plastic box, but as I have mentioned before, I always use a rubber band around these cheaper plastic boxes, just in case. $13 for 5 hooks. I’m very happy with this purchase.

08-03-2026For what I do to catch fish in a huge pile, this is what I needed all this time. You can cast this pretty far and run it through and just pull as hard as you can when you feel a bump just to get past the scales. You're pretty much set. Simple fishing style. The hooks are very sharp. These hooks need to be rinsed after using. For the amount you get, it's well worth the number of fish that you bring in.

08-03-2026It is just what I wanted but I should of went with a smaller size like a 5/0 or a 6/0, a 10/0 is way too big. It would be great for Bing down south and hunting gators, but for colorado way too big. Now I know better than ordering 10/0.✌️ out

08-03-2026Fishing in New England for Striped Bass involves finding and snagging Menhaden or "Bunker" for bait. In order to catch a fair share of baitfish you have to not only find a school of fish, but you have to be able to throw over the school and then actually snag the fish. (non-fishing people should stop reading this now).I like these hooks as they are small enough, and heavy enough to be thrown a good distance. They are big enough to actually snag a fish after being thrown. The hooks are barbed and are sharp. There is not much to not like about them and they fit in my tackle bag nicely at this size.
