Arrives very compressed and pretty crammed into a cute box.Once you (carefully) snip the plastic packaging and release Mama Bear & and her babies within ~~ She begins to relax. The caramel fur is incredibly soft and she's squishy. The babies are sweet ~ but they all will need a little time and squeezing to relax to their intended appearance.I think a child wouldn't care a bit that her front legs don't support her big head... I care...The product description page shows her head is UP and her legs are standing. The Capybara I have... the front legs and her chin are down and her back legs do stay up.As stated... a child will be holding this softie happily.Granted, the designers had to choose HOW to best allow the babies to stay and be released from her. They opted for white velcro along what would be considered her spine.I understand that an invisible zipper application could be problematic with kids using a zipper...fur getting caught in it, jamming, coming apart... but I don't love the stiff and kind of prickly velcro.Even with her babies "out", there is plenty of cuddle with Mama. Especially in her head.As another reviewer shared, you may have greater success hand-washing these "stuffs" and towel/air dry as running her through the washer can really impact the softness of her original fur.I do also love that kids will learn about this different looking animal: I didn't know -- Did you?The capybara or greater capybara is the largest living rodent, native to South America. It is a member of the genus Hydrochoerus. The only other extant member is the lesser capybara. Its close relatives include guinea pigs and rock cavies, and it is more distantly related to the agouti, the chinchilla, and the nutria.Pronounced Kah--Puh-Bah-Ruh are lovingly known as "rat-pigs" among enthusiasts, are indeed very friendly. Not only do they get along with humans, but they quickly make friends with other animals as well, from cats and turtles to monkeys and chickens.
This set is so soft, cute and well made! The baby capybaras fit inside the mommy and are different from one another
Very cute and soft !
So adorable and soft! Better than expected!
This is the cutest stuff animal. My son loves capybaras and loved the fact that it came with little babies that fit right inside. He even added some other capybara stuff animals he had inside the pouch.
Granddaughter loved it
Cute plush toy. Good size
Bought this as a birthday present and it was a hit. The surprise of more capybaras inside made it even more fun. Super soft and cute too.
