Champion Womens Essentials Washed Cotton Twill Adjustable Baseball Cap

I bought this to replace a baseball cap that I've had for ages that got warped after I tried to wash the sea salt out of it. I just needed a basic black baseball cap. This is exactly what I was hoping for. I was hoping to avoid a giant obnoxious logo, and this one does have a big logo, but it's black on black, so I don't really mind.The cotton twill fabric is soft but retains its structure well, and should be more breathable than some of the polyester hats I've seen floating around. The color is a deep black. I expect that it will fade a bit over time, but the color is strong to begin with.The size of this cap is a touch smaller than other caps I've had. The back is adjustable, and the tail of the strap tucks neatly inside the back of the cap, so no matter how big or small you adjust it, it looks like a custom fit.What surprised me (pleasantly) is that this cap is not quite as tall as other caps I've had before. Normally it feels like they're too tall and I end up either wearing them lower than I'd like (squished down on my ears like Fievel Mousekewitz) or I end up with some airspace between the top of the cap and my head. This one actually fits my head perfectly, with no air at the top and no squishing down on my ears. It took me a few minutes to get used to the feel of that, since it was so different that at first I felt like the cap was going to fall off, but after just a few minutes, I completely forgot that I was wearing it at all. I really dig that.Overall, I would definitely buy this again.

I was looking for something for out and about that is neutral and allows me to pull my pony tail through. This hat is just what I needed. I'm not a fan of big logos on hats and this one has a very subtle, simple logo on front and the Champion name across the back in thread that matches the color of the hat. The logos matching the color of the hat work for me. It looks great and the Natural color goes with everything. It fits well and can easily be adjusted with a buckle style adjuster. I prefer this type of adjustment over the plastic sizers with holes. The hat is well made, the embroidery is well done and the relaxed structure of the hat makes it look great on. It has a softness to the style as opposed to a rigid look that you often see on these types of caps. I'm really happy with this very comfortable cap.

Love love love the burgundy color, it goes with so many outfits and I love the quality this brand brings. I find the fit perfect. It's adjustable and my pony tail can easily go through the back. I think it's very comfortable and keeps the sun out of my eyes and great for dog walks or quick errands when you just throw on a hat and go. Love it.
