Works great! Just hook up a sawyer filter and go! It's made in China, so I'm not 100% confident in the materials. I recommend filtering through the bag within an hour or so - I've noticed a bit of plastic taste if left for an hour with the clip on. No big deal as I always camp next to water.

The side tap water outlet greatly reduced the particulates that clogged my Sawyer Mini Filter when using a similar water bag with a bottom outlet. I used this for a weekend cabin trip with 7 people to filter creek water. Last year, I had to backflush the filter every 2 bag fulls with the 'bottom tap' bag. This year, no backflushing was required. I did let the water settle for at least 10 minutes before filtering which would always leave a noticeable amount of debris in the bottom of the bag, but never made it into the filter.

I'm so glad I finally bought one of these. The large capacity and ease of hanging the bag to gravity filter is so nice. I used to go backpacking, get exhausted and sore from the miles and weight. Then have to go to the stream and fill a bottle and attach filter, squeeze and hold the bottles trying not to tip any over and spill as they slowly filled. Now I can scoop up a decent amount of water and hang it from a branch. Let gravity filter the water and have a hose with valve to control the flow. This bag system works great with my Sawyer mini and off brand filter. It is easy, clean, fast and packs up small and lightweight. I have bought a second one because it works so well.

The water filter system works well. Like its design. But a issue is that the rings at the top of the water bag, which you are supposed to attach to the hooks of the strap, the size of these rings are wayyy too small. When you are carrying a 6kg load and trying to attach it to a tree branch, you don't have the energy to play around with hooking on such a small ring.I am going to buy some carabiners separately, to make it easier on myself

Purchased the 3L, used once so far. Easy to fill and hang, seems durable. No leaks. I easily attached my micro Sawyer water filter.

Good use over the past 2 years but be aware, this product isn't built to last. Valve broke and cannot be fixed. Unexpected since I take good care of my gear. Looking to buy something more durable and reliable.

Works perfectly until you get to the last 3 inches of water. Then physics comes in to play and the water stops flowing. Need to refill.Only used it once so far but seems durable.Better then the original water bag for the Sawyer filters.

Made this part of my EDC, very compact and lightweight. Have not tested the treated water however I will and will post testing results here.

Compared to other similar waterbags, the location of the exit port of this waterbag on the sidewall is more thoughtful: it is about one-inch above the bottom of the bag. This design can allow more sediments to remain in the bag than going to the filter attached, therefore, extending the life of the water filter. The 4-star was due to the plastic tube included. It will become very rigid in a cold environment (e.g., high altitude camping) and the water cut-off clipper will become useless. I solved this problem by replacing that with a silicone tube from a Sawyer gravity kit, which remains soft in cold weather.

I take this on backpacking trips. It is super convenient to have a big bag of water in camp so I don't have to run to the river to fill up every time I empty a bottle. Product has lasted a couple seasons now with no leaks or obvious wear. It fits into a fairly small space and isn't heavy at all.

The best bad for backpacking or hunting. The larger one doesn't weigh too much more. The side valve allowa you to bypass sediment. I had their smaller bag and bought the larger one. Buy a Sawyer filer and this bag, you won't regret it.Larger bag is nice because multiple people use it, sometimes water is farther away and the larger bag saves multiple trips.
