I am missing 2 wopper ploppers, the 2 I was most excited about. Everything else arrived as it said. I only have 5 out of the 7 pieces it said it came with.

The price was really good for five hard body lures and two soft frog topwater lures. I have fished these types of lures before with pretty good success. I find the topwater lures are best used early morning or late evening when the sun is off water. The frogs also work great when fished across moss & lilly pads. Twitch them on top and then pop them across the openings.The jointed sinking minnow looks very really lifelike and the action looks like an injured minnow when twitched and jerked in the water and then let settle down for a second or two.The lures cast well and the quality looks good. The hooks are sharp and the components will work well for a long time.

I'm always skeptical of lures sold in sets but these are actually pretty good. Living in an area with small and large mouth bass as well as pike, these top water lures are perfect for bays, and areas with heavy weed growth, in order to catch fish without messing up your lures or line.The hooks needed the barbs crimped to comply with laws here, but once done, they were good to go and I was fortunate enough to grab a pike using one of these the first day out! The lures do have a heavy plastic smell however and before use I had to air them out in the garage before putting them in the tackle box for the fishing trip.Overall these are fairly good and have handled a few bites from aggressive Pike without breaking.

This collection of lures are what my nephew calls “Whopper Ploppers” because they are great top water lures that will attract and catch pike, bass, and catfish. These are good lures for weedy ponds and lakes. The silver fish one of the set especially has very good action with its segmented tail. Nothing caught yet but these are very promising and nice quality lures. A decent set for the price.

Quality is excellent! They are worth the money however I only received three total in my package and the description said it came with seven. Thats the only reason I am giving it a 3 star rating otherwise if I would have received all seven I would give them a 5.
