push up stands
I give this 5 stars but give myself 1 star for just how out of shape this thing made me realize I am. I have been trying to use it regularly (but we all know how that can go) and I can definitely feel it working different areas in my body. I like that it positions my hands to specific locations to work different muscle groups. The handles are thick and feel sturdy when pushing up. Never felt like it was going to break. I did learn fast that I needed to use it on hard floor and not carpeting. The carpet and carpet pad gave it a squishy feel that was somewhat weird to me. I now place it in the doorway between the bedroom and the bathroom. That way it is secure in the tile but my body still gets the benefit of the soft carpet.
Works fine
At a low price point of $15.99, this is quite reasonable for what you are getting. The quality of plastic is lightweight and travel friendly since the board can be folded. It did not come with a manual, but assembly was easy since it's the same way you put it away. The handles fit easily into the pegs for the various positions. I am extremely out of shape since I only did about a handful of pushups before feeling sore the next day. This board can travel with me, so it's versatile for as long as I have a flat surface. The plastic is lightweight, so if you don't express full control of your movements, you may cause the board to shift. I just consider it to be an extra challenge. I am less than 150lbs, so if you are heavier, you may want to consider this before buying in case the plastic doesn't offer the same kind of support.
Practico
I really like the idea of this and it is great for getting your hand placement down to work different muscle groups. However, it is kind of flimsy and the handles don't stay in the board securely. I am okay using it because I am a beginner in fitness so it works fine for me. It is comfortable to use, though, so not bad, just needs to be a little sturdier.
I use this pushup board 3x a week for regular, incline and decline sets for the past three months, and it hasn't let me down. I used to think it was kinda flimsy, but it's nicer than other comparable products I tried afterwards. Yeah, it has some flex to it, but the ABS plastic is not going to fall apart. I've never had the handles pop out during my pushups either. If I have a complaint, it's that the product doesn't fold totally flat and is missing a clasp to keep it closed for travel.
This tool forces you to use the correct form and placement for pushups to target specific areas, which also means your triceps will be very sore and thus very effective. It's very portable and versatile as it has multiple placements that are color coded and easy to understand and tell you which muscle areas they hit. I would say the main letdown in this that the handles stick in the holes a bit too much. I really kind of have to yank and wiggle them out a bit to change the placement. If you don't plan on switching it around much, then it's a non-issue.
I was excited to try this 15-in-1 Push Up Board, hoping it would add some variety and structure to my home workouts. The concept is great. The color-coded board makes it easy to target different muscle groups, and it’s lightweight and portable, which is ideal for small spaces. It also comes with a helpful workout guide and claims to support up to 330 lbs, which gave me some initial confidence in its durability.Unfortunately, the overall quality just didn’t live up to expectations. The plastic feels flimsy, and the handles don’t lock into the slots as securely as they should, making the setup feel unstable during more intense workouts. I also noticed the board shifted slightly on certain floor types despite its “non-slip” design. While it might be fine for beginners doing light workouts, it’s not something I’d recommend for serious strength training. It has potential, but the build quality and safety concerns hold it back.
