It worked great the first time I used it. The air that came out was nice and cool. It also spritzed the water. It wasn't as helpful as I had hoped, but nice for the size. The second time I used it, which was right after my return window apparently, it would not cool. So now I just bought a $40 desk fan. Hopefully I can figure out the issue with this stupid thing. But the instructions aren't that difficult so idk what I could be doing wrong.
I bought this for my bedroom. I have a small to medium size bedroom. My bedroom gets a little warmer than the rest of the house and I like it really cool at night. It cools my room a little but as soon as the ice melts it’s done. It has a timer on it for 2 and 4 hours. The ice is melted by then so there is no use for the timer.
It works well to cool you down if you're sitting at a desk or lying in bed. I saw some reviews that said it's good at cooling down a room; this is not true it is not good at that. If you're in a room that's already cold and just trying to cool it down a bit more, then maybe it would be. But, while sitting right in front of it with the cooling feature on, it does feel nice enough for me to almost forget I'm sitting in a room with no a/c.It's very quiet for a fan which is a plus. The LED lights are also nice to have on if the room is well lit enough (they're brighter than I would have expected, lol.) Unfortunately there's no light settings it just cycles through colors if it's on but that's only a personal preference of mine.I'd say the biggest downside is that the water compartment has no insulation, which means any ice in it melts super fast in a hot room. It also gets a lot of condensation so it depending on what surface it's on it definitely needs to be sat on a towel. The melting ice means the water stops being cold fairly fast, so you have to be able to change the ice out every 1-2 hours. Mist on your skin + wind = cooler than it would be without the mist even if the water's warm, though. I live by the shore so I worry about adding additional humidity to the environment on purpose, but I'll just try running it with a dehumidifier on as well. All in all if you're gonna be sitting in front of it while using it, it does it's job. Decent strength breeze and the water makes it feel nice and cool. Questionable for use if you're asthmatic or have other breathing issues though; if you're sitting close enough for it to be really working you'll be breathing in a fine mist of cold water which makes breathing feel a bit weird for me lol.
For the first week, I was thoroughly impressed by the cooling effect, which kept my workspace exceptionally cool. The most remarkable feature was the complete evaporation of the water mist, ensuring nothing got wet. However, after just a week, the water mist stopped, transforming it from a highly effective cooling device into an expensive fan. Despite cleaning it and replacing the wicks, it only worked a few hours a day for a week before failing completely.
The first thing that I noticed when I turned it on is that it was much quieter than I imagine. Even at its high speed, it wasn’t as loud as some of the other fans that I’ve had in the past. It really has a nice look. I put water in it not sure how well this was going to work. But I was amazed, the mist is so fine that you can feel it and instantly gives a cooling feeling. But neither did I feel like I was getting wet or large droplets of water hitting me.I love that it has a timer for two or four hours. That way you don’t have to worry about it continuing to run if you leave. I think this will make a great fan for my son when he goes to camp. It is a little bigger than I imagined and it will require that you have it plugged in or use one of those charging batteries to make it run. But it’s still small enough that you could pack it up in a bag.Since it uses a standard usb-c, it obviously doesn’t use a lot of power. I also liked that you can move the fins on the front to cause the air to flow up or down based on where the cooler is located. It does have a light that changes colors. It doesn’t do much for me but I think a lot of young people might enjoy that feature. It does add a nice modern feel.
The first thing I noticed when I turned this fan on was how quiet it was—much quieter than I expected, even on the highest setting. I've had plenty of fans in the past, and this one definitely stands out for being powerful without the noise. It has a sleek, modern look that fits in nicely with any room or setting. I wasn't sure how well the misting feature would work, but I was really impressed! The mist is super fine—you can feel the instant cooling effect without feeling wet or like you're being sprayed with droplets. One feature I really appreciate is the built-in timer (2 or 4 hours), which is perfect if you tend to forget to turn things off before leaving. I’m planning to send this with my son to camp—it’s a bit bigger than I expected, but still portable enough to fit in a bag. Just keep in mind that it needs to be plugged in or powered with a portable charging battery.I also love that it uses a standard USB-C, which makes it energy-efficient and convenient. The adjustable fins are a great touch too—you can angle the airflow wherever you need it. While the color-changing light isn’t something I personally use, I think younger users would find it fun, and it definitely adds to the cool, modern vibe.
I bought this portable air conditioner mainly for my bedroom, and I have to say, it works pretty well! It’s small, but it cools down the room in no time. I love the 3-speed settings, so I can adjust it to my comfort level. The 7-color night lights are a nice touch too, especially when I want to set a relaxing vibe at night. The cool mist feature is awesome – it feels like a gentle breeze, and it definitely helps with the heat.Another bonus is the 2/4 hour timer, which is great when I don’t want it running all night. Overall, it's perfect for a small space like my office or bedroom. Super easy to set up and use. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable and efficient way to stay cool.
