My son is very picky about clothes, mostly concerning comfort. He loves these pants. They are lightweight even though corduroy, so they are warm but not too warm. They look nice but still have the sweatpants feel, including stretchiness. They wash and dry well. Have nice deep pockets. Will be ordering more colors for sure. At 13, it's ALL about comfort; as a mom, I love for him to look nice. These are perfect!
Yes, you can see light through the fabric! These are not meant for windy/cold conditions. They are more for lounging around, mainly spring or early fall (New England). They are comfortable, they wash well, and the fit was as expected. I normally order large, but ordered XL for extra room (and got what I expected). I got these on sale, and I feel it was a good value for the money. The rubber tag is very easy to remove as long as you know what you're doing. I was going to leave it but it was annoying and became something for me to fidget with, so I removed it. I wish they were cotton. Wind runs right through these, so if you like the airy feel, these are for you.
My son loves these, they are so soft and comfy. Got an XL and they were the perfect fit. Usually size 36x34 in jeans.
Confortable and good quality for a reasonable price. Size runs true and washes up nicely.
Fits well around waist, but inseam is longer than expected. Material is a bit thin, but it’s comfortable.
Our son is a disabled Army veteran and recently was fitted with AFOs, the below the knee braces that go down the leg, in the shoe, and strap on. They really help him walk better but we have struggled to find pants that will hang properly over them. These pants were the answer. He wore them for church yesterday for the first time and they looked so good. If you didn’t know he had braces on, you wouldn’t know as they never rode up once. Add to that they are so soft and comfortable. Yes, they are thinner than normal corduroy, but we live in Florida, so he should be able to wear them year round unless it is just freezing out. I haven’t washed them yet, but others have mentioned to hang them to dry, which is really a pain, but as good as they look and as comfortable as they are, I will do it. The size is perfect. He is close to 5’10” and weighs 135-140. Once I was them, I plan to order more. Oh, I did return the khaki because they were more of a cream color and just too light. We will stick with black.
I was looking for pair of lighter weight linen-cotton warmer weather pants -- more sweat pants than super baggy -- and was surprised to find these corduroy fabric semi-straight leg pants. Surprised because I would normally think of corduroy as being a warmer fabric choice, but a comment in a review indicated they were very light, and indeed, it is a lighter corduroy. I purchased a XL pair based on Amazon recommendations for sizing. That size was perfect for me. For reference, in Levis 550 jeans I usually wear a 35W, 32L (5'10" 180 lbs). These are definitely light, not linen cotton light, but still a an airy corduroy fabric. I would not wear them in super hot weather, with a preference towards the airier feeling linen fabrics, but still up to 75F they are comfortable without feeling hot or cloying. Construction quality is good with secure stitching and no loose threads. Thin corduroy "wales". Prior to washing they fit, and after washing I think they fit even better with a bit more security along the waistline -- I do not have them tied, the elastic is flexible and secure. Very comfortable and soft to the skin. Reiterating size: Length wise a touch over for me (33-34"). Waist sizing with the elastic and tie off was well within my normal range (again, 35-36, with room for expansion). The bottom cuff is loose, not tight against the lower ankle like some sweat pants can. They are loose, straight leg, a little baggy along the legs but definitely not harem "can't touch this" parachute style size (which can be too much for me).The front pockets are deep enough for a phone, wallet, cards, or keys. If I had a wish it would a deeper back pocket, two of them rather than just one-- a phone or wallet will fit in this back pocket, but such items are not super secure (a small square of velcro at the top and inside the pocket might help). Another wish would be to remove the "Hidkat Fashion" label on the front (or maybe move it to the waist or back pocket?) -- the label is fine, but prominent, and it is stitched into the fabric in such a way that it is not removable. Color expectation seems about right, khaki appears a bit brighter than browner.Very pleased with the price, how they look with sandals and running shoes, and fit in the crotch and down the legs. Definitely on my list to purchase another pair in a different color.
These corduroy pants are really soft and comfy. I like the loose wide-leg fit and the drawstring makes them easy to adjust. They look good with casual outfits. Only thing is the length is a bit longer than I expected, but still a solid pick for the price.
