AVANTGO Portable Home Gym, Multifunctional Cable Fitness Machine, Resistance Adjustable Functional Trainer, App & Bluetooth Connection, Full Body Workouts, Fitness Anywhere, Gray
I just received this items about two days ago. So far I've been highly impressed. I purchase the duel package with two. Love the fact that it has eccentric and acentric resistance. With the accessories and a door you can target a lot of different muscle groups with plenty of weight resistance. It's Ideal for quick workouts in small space. I travel a lot and it's perfect for a hotel room workout. I hate it when I go to the hotel gym and there's someone else in there with limited space and weight. Is it totally efficient as a gym workout? No, But it feels my needs get a work out in when I can't make it to the gym. It takes a little getting use to the motions and reps. If you are a serious bodybuilder looking to pack on a ton of muscle. This isn't for you. If you are trying to maintain what you got, add a little tone and get a good burn going on. This item can get you there, Only issue I have is the app can more intuitive with upgrades. I can see opportunity for a few more up grades to the manual (English), accessories (to purchase separately)(longer extender straps) and add ons equipment (like bench, wall attachment). Have not tried they're customer service yet. I really think It's a solid buy for me.
The amount of stuff you can do this is wild, i would need x hundred or thousand dollar cable machine to replicate this and this is portable. I have the unitree pump and this. This is miles ahead because it has a much higher max weight, larger battery, and buttons that allow you to modify the weight on the device. With that being said, the acceleration curve is better on the unitree; this one has a brief moment at the top of the rep where it gives 0 resistance but it doesn't impact the workout signficantly, just a bit odd.
I have been using the product for a month and can basically exercise all my muscles. The balance of two machines working simultaneously is a bit poor only when the weight is below 9LBS, but the overall experience is still good.
I bought two and one of them already broke... otherwise I was gonna write a five star review. UPDATE, both broke within two weeks
I purchased two of these Avantgo gyms and I really enjoy using them. The resistance feels significantly heavier than you'd expect, and the recoil matches the resistance setting, so you have both concentric and eccentric resistance. You can attach these little devices on virtually anything with the provided accessories (straps, suction cups that actually work, and a door attachment), or you can attach them to the included platform and stand on it to do certain exercises. I've been able to use the straps to attach to my bench easily. I appreciate that the app allows me to change the display to either kg or LBs, and I can adjust the starting length of the cables before turning on the resistance (the cable will only recoil as far as I select it to in the app), which is helpful for certain movements. However, the app still has a LONG way to go as far as ease of use, language, etc. The only thing these lack is a Bluetooth controller to remotely engage/disengage the resistance, which would definitely aid in making certain exercises easier and safer. Also, I haven't found a way to simultaneously connect two devices to the app. Besides that, these are super portable, easy to use, and all around useful little machines. I recommend giving them a try!
I have been workout for 7 years and haven't had much time to go to the gym recently. I bought an AVANTGO machine that I can use to workout at home and in hotels. The resistance of 66LBS also basically meets my training needs, and various accessories and platforms can effectively move to the muscle group you want. Hope the APP will be updated more guidance video.Hope there will be more accessories such as fitness bench as video.
I’ve been lifting weights, primarily in bodybuilding and powerlifting for years now. I wanted to give it a couple of weeks of use before I decided to put in a review. I was skeptical about how the resistance would feel on the eccentric. To my surprise, it feels pretty smooth. Sure you can’t go super heavy, but I’d say it’s great for hypertrophy work. You can add a carabiner and other attachments if you have them around. Only downside is the battery takes around 5+ hours to charge, but I could usually get 1 to 2 workouts before I have to recharge them. They last longer if you turn them off between sets.
