I bought this a month ago hoping to survive another stuffy city summer without a window AC, and it has made my home office genuinely bearable. This sturdy little unit feels well-made but is still light enough to easily move from my desk during the day to my nightstand at night.On my desk, the fan and a fine, cool mist cut right through the stagnant heat around me. At night, it’s a dream-the low setting is a barely-there hum, and the remote is a lazy luxury for changing the settings from bed. Let's be clear: this will not cool a whole room, and I went into this purchase knowing that. It's designed to create a personal "cool bubble" a few feet around you, and it aces that job.This gets a full 5 stars because it flawlessly does what it's meant to do. If you need to make your immediate space-your desk, reading nook, or bedside-drastically more comfortable, this is a brilliant and effective gadget.

So, to be completely honest this is NOT an air conditioner. This is simply a glorified fan that has the ability to mist water vapor out the front, which I suppose does have a cooling effect if you are just going to sit in front of it. It will not cool a room, or in my case, a camper. The fan is good for its size. It has "cool" LED lights, if you like that sort of thing. Runs off a cord that needs to be plugged into a USB outlet, fyi. It is NOT battery powered, so as soon as you unplug it goes off. I was hoping for an Air Conditioner, as it is titled, and just got a fan. So you have been warned! This won't cool much of anything, but it will move some air for you if that's what you want. You will need to bump up to the higher price point to get an actual portable room AC unit.

Received this portable air conditioner 2 days ago, and I am truly impressed . There is remarkable difference in the room temperature. It is great for small rooms in a matter of minutes the room is cool. Love the fact that’s portable and is light weight also it doesn't take up as much space. This unit is not noisy even after running for hours.Love that it uses a remote control which is easy to understand and has useful options like a timer and fan mode. This unit also works as a humidifier , which is great .I would recommend it to anyone looking to cool a small space , I really liked this product.

I read the reviews n thought this is great. Have to get it. So it does help. It does not need ice which is what some need. I use this for an indoor porch to take the heat away. But if u are having the heat n humidity like where I live it really does not help unless you sit in front of it. I’m not saying it is not a good product. Just saying that it is not as some reviews have written. Still happy I purchased it though.

I originally purchased this because my apartment gets extremely hot in the summer and the wall unit only cools down so much. I had no clue this could also be used as a fan and humidifier! The only downside to this product is I only bought one. This has become my new go to when traveling especially the humidifier option when I just need the air to be less dry! From what I can see the build is sturdy and has survived a few camping trips so far. I love the color I purchased. The humidity option doesnt make the area used too warm or that awkward muggy feeling which is nice. The fan is pretty cool on its own but add a few ice cubes and wow, I had to turn it off i was so cold. Love that it has a remote option for easier handled too. I would recommend this to anyone traveling or just have a small space that needs something versatile.

I checked the reviews and expected a very cooling “air conditioning” type fan. Fortunately that was not my experience. It’s a nice fan, but it’s not air conditioning cooling. The container where the ice is held is very small so you have to use chipped ice that small which tends to melt faster not allowing for that to be really good cooling. I love the idea that is run by USB port cord, but I expected a little bit more cooler air. If you have a very small room, this may be good, but it doesn’t work for my purposes and I have a larger room.
