08-03-2026Quite why Amazon UK lists this Amazon US product when it has no intention of providing a warranty or UK power supply beats me. It is a beautiful piece of kit and about £1000 less than the same device from Amazon UK. "Rufus" informed me that it would come with a 1-year warranty from Lenovo UK but that doesn't seem to be the case. Attempting to resolve any issue with Amazon Customer Services is character forming but totally frustrating. I was ready to go through some pain to acquire this product but in the end have admitted defeat and am sending it back. (What are Amazon UK going to do with it?)Of course they publish a ***** review from a delighted US customer but that isn't of help to us in the UK.

08-03-2026I have owned a number of Carbon X1s, but this one is a disaster. The casing around the screen is too thin. If you are not very careful in handling it the casing will bend and the screen will crack! Lenovo, in an effort to have the thinnest and lightest laptop, has designed and manufactured a DELICATE laptop. If you intent to handle this as you would any mobile device and not just purchase it as a display piece in a laptop collection then AVOID THE GEN 13 MODEL.

08-03-2026Great lightweight laptop.Unlike one reviewer I received the correct processor as listed. Saved several hundred of dollars over the list price on the Lenovo site.I've come to really like the Lenovo laptops. I now have three I've bought in the last year, this being the latest. I prefer this X1 over my Aura 15.3 w almost identical specs.I love the composite construction on this and the T14 models. Easy to use track pad, not as sensitive as the glass trackpads.Great specs and camera. Nice display, too.
